i like my bf alot, but unlike his twin brother, he never calls me! His twin bro is going out with my best friend and they're always so romantic together. my best friend always tells me that my bf's twin bro calls her everyday, like twice a day and my bf never calls. i know we've been going out for only 4 days, and that hes a junior and im just a freshmen, but i want him to do SOMETHING! grrr...any advice?

On Saturday night, my bf (who i was planning to marry) and I got in a huge fight. It was very loud, outside, at the dorms in law school. Someone called campus police. We were separated. The next morning, I went to apologize to him even though it was not just my fault. At any rate, since the fight, my friends have reported me to the Dean, claiming that I have an alcohol problem (we were both drunk at the time). I do not believe this to be true because I rarely drink, I just happened to have too much on Saturday. At any rate, my bf dumped me, and has since said he never wants to talk to me again. 3 of my friends refuse to talk to me. I am completely lost and alone. I am not a bad person. I make good grades, and I have lots of friends outside of law school who love me. How do I get over the fact that my world has fallen apart?

My husband-to-be wants to put a note in our wedding invitations for April 2008 to the effect: "NO wedding gifts - not even money or shop vouchers please."
I feel as it (both) our second marriage(s) and we do not have a lot of money to spend on the wedding: any gift of any kind is welcome and the gift of money (or shop vouchers) is welcome, even just to offset the cost of the wedding.

Am I wrong to feel the gift of money or shop vouchers is welcome or should I go along with his idea of no gifts at all?

Our wedding, together with classic and modern Rock'n'Roll themed, bar-be-que reception will be at home.

We both have son's living with us: mine is 10yrs old and his is 20 and they will both be participating in the wedding, as groomsman and ring bearer.

What constitutes a good man? Well, word is that they are usually respectful, don’t push to hard, and also probably didn’t exist back in the prehistoric days where you’d club a woman over the head. After further review, it seems as though nice guys also have a lot of patience. This is usually where things start to get shady for the nice guy. The “Have your cake and eat it too!” factor comes into play. The woman knowingly tramples over Mr. Nice Guy like Simba’s Dad in a wilder beast stampede! Sad. However, the biggest difference between that lion and Mr. Nice Guy is that the nice guy always gets back up, brushes himself off, and tries again, Dedication. You have to admire that in a funny way though. Does the nice guy know when enough is enough? On the other hand, the “Bad Guy” that we all know as “Thugs” usually don’t care what his woman thinks; actually he does the exact opposite of what his female asks of him.

Now that Im 29 when I see 18 year olds, they still have the body of kids & definitely the personality of one...The reason Im asking this is because I recently was given the opportunity for sex with an 18 year old, part of me wants to do it just because, then theres the other side that I think is my better judgement telling me its not right but I would just like to hear from some MATURE people here on what they think of this situation.

Right, ive been going out with this guy for almost a year and 1/2, but the thing is, its an internet relationship. We live so far apart that we never get to see each other. We didnt rush into things, but i really think i love him. Like anyone else we've had up and downs.....but now im starting to believe its not going to work.....is it a good idea to stay with him, and to wait for him, or to dump him and get on with my life? help me please ok i just broke up with my boyfriend and yesterday he kept calling me then he left a message saying if i dont get back together with him he threatened my life and my family and friends life i am so scared b/c last week he said he would fight my neighbor b/c he thought i was cheating on him but my neighbor is my cousin so he ffought him and he keeps his promises and we were together only for 2 yrs and he said if i go to the police he will shoot me! my bus goes by the police station and i saw him there and he has a gun in his hand and he has been by my house all the time he is stalking me and he got into my house and cut the phone line and stole all the phones includeing cell phones in my house! i do not know how he got into my house and i am scared if i get back together with him and i break up with him again i dont know what he will do to me and he is an abusve boyfriend i have bruieses all on my arms and some on my face no where else though uh oh here he comes help me!!

I have had a TBI and live with an abusive husband that would rather do drugs and not pay anyh bills or buy food. I need alttle bit more of mentoring help to find afordable housing and or such things like that. I have called all the shelters and government agencies and they are of no help because they do not understand brain damaged people. Their services don[t help peoples like me. Earlier I posted a question and all people told me what to do but I am not that understanding of how. I do not want someone to take care of me I just need someone to help me find the right place to look and survive. I have my own money every month and again I am not looking for a hand out. Julia said that to me earlier and that hurt me so please try to be a little more compassionate.

When I had my daughter 8 years ago, I've talked with my hubby regarding staying home and raising her. When my daughter was 9 month old, I got pregnant with my son. Considering we live in New York City, and both of our families reside in other countries, it was a choice I've made together with my husband, and since it was financially not a problem, I've stucked to that choice. Now, I kinda would like to start working again (part time, while they are in school) but also, am a little bit terrified that that option will make my home and family members "crumble" emotionally. My hubby supports the idea but what about the children? How could it affect them emotionally? I would like to go back to work, because I'm 38 now and feel a little bit "depressed" about doing every day the same thing. Have you had a "phase" like this? Thank you!

Its not 1950 anymore and today both parties need to make that ends meet I believe.. Im not rich yet! The cost of living in California is rediculous So I ask my fiance' for $320.00 a month to help things run smoothly around the house.. I dont think im asking for much. She makes about $1000.00 a month while going to school full time. She has $680.00 to herself that I dont touch or ask for anything She complains.

More over I dont believe in women living off of men .. Even when Im rich my wife will work and contribute cause thats the way I was brought up. I think relationships are teams.. and I dont spend a dime without discussing it..

Am I asking for to much?

I was in a six year relationship, that was off and on long distance. Togther we had a flawless relationship and we were truely best friends and were very much in love. To make a long story short, every situation that can keep two people apart happened, weve been through pregnancies, him going to jail, deaths in the family you name it...... Well, I found out almost a year after the fact, that right before he was facing jail time, he eloped and married another woman. I have been soooo angry about it that I dont even want to talk to him, and when ever we do speak (shortly because i hang up on him) He tries to tell me that the situation is not at all what I think and he didnt marry her for those reasons. It has been 3 years, I cant move on and get involved with anyone else, because my heart is still with him. He has never let me go, he will find a way to contact me no matter what, even after 3 years. Did he marry her for pity to the judge? Should I talk to him, even though he married her?

My husbands ex wife, who does not want any contact, even though my two girls have been staying with her, she as now started sending emails, saying I am a patherlogical lier, because I was adopted, its effected my ability to have a good relationship with my older daugher, she turned against me after living with her dad, her step mom put her on the pill at 14 without my knowlege, also allowed her to sleep around, she got pregnant at 15, my ex and his wife arranged for her to marry her boyfriend at Christmas without my consent, she is now in Utah and does not contact me, recently my other two daughters were visiting their dad and her in the Summer, she went ahead and cut my youngests daughters hair, from very long to 1.5in all over, she looks like a boy, she also now saying im heartless, and blaming me for my ex whos suffering from illness she said, if he dies I will have that on my plate, he originally got ill through disturbance from a next door neighbors dog that would not stop barking

My husband and i have been haveing some major problems. He says that evertime I get upset I am over reacting. He never reacts to anything. The roof could be caving in and he will say "it will be fine, we'll get it", but then makes me feel like a jerk for getting upset about it.
The other day he suggested that maybe I should get on anxiety pills. I do not have an anxiety problem. Sometimes I do get a little overly upset about something gone wrong but I also can be fine in 5 mins. I feel like I am an emotional person and sometimes I just need to vent. He says I "take it out" on him. Shouldn't I be able to vent to my husband? I am trying to not get too upset about stuff, but then I feel like I can't be myself around him.
I'm I in the wrong here? Or is he? Or neither?
