I mean do you feel like "your all that" or do you just feel like your better than anyone else, etc. Just curious, cause I don't feel that way very much, but sometimes....I thought about this after I watched the Movie "Little Miss Sunshine" and how she was just so cute and everybody else was all made up and fake looking, especially for little kids. I looked at my daughter and told her she was beautiful just the way she is.

I used to but less and less as I get older and wiser. But I do feel more loved, accepted and respected.

Yes I have felt that way for years. I do have social anxiety. I do not feel comfortable in large crowds. I am not a party animal but I often wish that I could just let go and have fun. I have discovered over the years that I need to be able to "connect' people to have fun. I need first of all to like then somewhat and then to feel comfortable around them. I am usually uncomfortable around a bunch of strangers. ONe on one I do pretty good though. I do love to dance though. I like to two step and in the area where I live we have 3 or 4 'dances' within 50 miles of here where people gather to dance. They are family oriented, no drinking allowed and really laid back. I went there for yrs and only got to know a handful of people. I guess that I am very picky in who I hang with.

Wow! There's a lot in your question. I'll address the last statement first. 's moms, we usually see our kids the way our mothers' saw us. We are more than a little prejudiced when it comes to our own children, and it's OK.
However, we can create bratty narcissists if we focus on their looks and it actually can create insecurity in a child. It's healthier to talk to your children about your love for them, regardless of their abilities, talents, looks etc. Empower them to become the best they can be and teach them to be aware of others around them.
Then, talking about yourself. I believe the right goal is to be
'humble'. This doesn't mean to put yourself down, it means being honest. Get up, clean up, dress reasonably so that your clothing or your appearance isn't what others focus on.
When anyone interacts with us, they should walk away with a feeling, not a photograph. People may forget what you look like, they may forget what you said to them, but they will FOREVER REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL ABOUT THEMSELVES!!!!!!

I felt perfect on my wedding day, but that's the only time. It was a wonderful day!

It's a shame how many people strive for perfection: the perfect hair, teeth, nose, body, etc. Nobody is or ever will be perfect and striving for perfection just makes a person really sad, you know? I'd rather be average looking and happy than perfect and sad!

I think I could safely say that almost everyone has their "days," Those days were you feel like you're invincible, beautiful and just amazing. There are some days when I think I'm "ALL THAT", but i wouldn't say I thought I was better.

I don't think I am perfect. I want thing to be perfect know they are not. I don't feel like I am all that. It humbles you. I tell my six year-old she is the best, she is awesome, she is the greatest gift that I have and I mean it. I want her to believe in herself and know that she can do anything that she sets her mine to as long as it is within reason.

I don't really feel "perfect", per se, but there are many times where I feel perfectly content with myself and my personal limitations.

I am perfect in every way possible. You are perfect in every way possible. All good righteous people are perfect in every way possible. Because there will never be another you. Only one, that makes you perfect and unique.
