I know I'd survive and eventually be able to move on. Of course there would be a mourning period. That's only natural. But whether my man and I split up for whatever reason, or he died, that doesn't mean my life is over. There's too much to live for, even without him.

You may think me callous for feeling this way, but I believe every love has a purpose. Even if that love is lost, it was meant to be for that time in your life. And evey love, even if it's lost, is a gift.

I would try to realize maybe this is for the best. As crappy as the situtation my feel and be at the time you must realize this isn't the final stop. There will be other girls and there will be other love. If your relation came crashing down it maybe for the best. I know it is hard to see when your emotions are wrapped up in it but give it time, you will heal again.

Unless he's died, he's not lost. I want him to be happy and alive. Even if he's happy with someone other than me, I can still live. If he died, because he's a Marine, I would know that he died for a good cause. He would have no regrets and so I shouldn't feel bad either. Grief is selfish anyway.

I don't know what I would do. I believe I have found my soulmate and if I ever lost him, ....I would probably loose myself to depression and a broken heart.
