I read a newspaper article today that quoted a woman with the last name of Rine-Stone (I swear). It got me to thinking about what some other funny hyphenated names might be. For example, if Jane Snow married John White, she'd be Snow-White. If Joy Summer married Kevin Winter, she's be Summer-Winter. If Becky Gnu married Bobby York, she'd be Gnu-York. What other ones can you come up with?

I am having my wedding in April of next year at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth TX. I have 3 bride’s maids and 3 groom’s men.
I have created an “Honored Court” which means that I have girl friends ranging from the age of 20 to 65 that are helping me in the wedding and I am giving them special recognition for doing so by putting them in the wedding as an “Honored Court Member.” They will come in when the court is presented.

My dress has a Champagne Sash: (see link below)

Here is my issue………. Do I separate my Honored Court and Brides maids by color? If so how? I wanted honeydew green, but is putting all the girls in that color going to be too much? I don’t think I want Champagne because I think it will look to light in the sun…. HELP!

If you have any other color combos that do not include honeydew green and you think it works with my wedding please let me know.

I am in my late 30s and in my 20s I was married and I LOVE to go out and do things and I was never home. My husband and I were always visiting people or doing something. That was a very speical time in our lives.

But I am closer to 40 and I have noticed I have slowed down, I like to cook more and want to try new recepies, I sleep more and I dont always like to go out as much as I used to I do like to swim in the pool and enjoy going on the computer as well.

Also I am not what I used to be I used to be very energetic and hyper in my 20s and the extra energy served me well when I worked and did a lot in my 12 years of employment.

But I have slowed down and much calmer and a little more reserved. Is this normal? And it it normal as a woman to go through these seasons of life?

I am married for 3 years, no kids to the nicest most endearing person you would ever meet. My husband is 7 yrs older than i am, and when you see me i look younger than my real age (I am 29, and get ID'd everywhere). I have had a lot of guys approaching me and i have brushed them off all the time cuz of my commitment to my husband. Until, one night when i had too much to drink with all girls night out, i found myself making out with this really really cute 24 yr old guy. I have couple of advise needed: I feel guilty, i dont want to tell my husband as it will break his heart and that's the last thing i wanted to do. (i know i screwed up with my judgement). 2nd: I don't know why i found myself enjoying the make-out and actually trying to recall it my mind as it feels good. I felt wanted. My husband is very passive, won't give me praise on how good i look, on how nice i smell, on how i keep the house together. and this kid just gave me the attention. I am so sad right now :(

My husband has been deployed to Iraq for the past 15 months, he will be home soon and I invited his father up to see him (my FIL lives 2800 miles away), thinking he would only stay 1 week or 10 days, well his father called and said he wants to stay 2 months. I'm in 10th grade, I really like this girl and she says she likes me back, but it's only in private that she'll even hold my hand (not even in front of our family members or friends). She's gotten better, she now talks to me in front of other people. She can't date until her next birthday but I hang out with her all the time at her or my house. Why won't she even hold my hand or give me a hug if we're not completely alone? Is it something I did?

I do not want to get married I have seen more unhappy married people than happy ones. I don't want kids. I really just want some close friends, My parents and grandparents and dad's family tease me about it a lot they think i'm gay i'm not. I just want to go to work and enjoy life without worrying about marriage and kids. I want to move very far away from them (i live in DeSoto KS) to the west coast like Washington state. My family all around is into alcohol and i'm not. I am getting a degree in IT and hopefully in 5 years of saving I can move and never come back. How do I tell them i don't want to get married and have kids?

anytime something bothers me or stresses me out and I try to talk to my husband about it he gets rude, then we fight, and then he ends up depressed and says he's a bad person and a bad husband. I don't tell him that. It's just sometimes I feel like he doesn't want to hear what bothers me about things he does and usually he turns it around on me. What can I do?

my fiance have been together now for over 3 years & known each other for more than 7years. we are now living together with 4 dogs & life for most of the time is good.
however i work 2 jobs & he goes to university still there is some friction at times. i have to wake up at 6.30am, rush home, pick up the dogs, take them to my other work & work till about 7pm. i get home & i collapse but i still have to have time to do the laundry and feed the dogs.
he is getting better at helping me as he takes the dogs out with me at night but then he will watch tv in our bedroom till about 1am so i am not sleeping well. then when i ask him for a little help walking the dogs in the morning he gets very angry at me.
it's very hard to talk to him as he takes everything the wrong way, spirals up, explodes, leaves, comes back and then just wants to forget about it. it's hard for me right now & i just feel like i would like a little support but i can't ask him as he gets mad. maybe i haven't described the..

My mom did this and she could never explain why since she wasn't fat before and looked scrawny in her wedding photos. She met my Dad when she was at the heavier weight. A lot of women do this. I mean, if he falls in love with you at that size, why should you be embarrassed to walk down the aisle at that size? I don't really get it

i am 16 years old and my parents divorced about a year ago. me and my mom used to be good friends until she (out of nowhere divorced my dad). i found out why she divorced him a few weeks ago and it was because she had an affair with another man. she always tells me i am rude and selfish, even though i never talk to her. and when i try she always yells and just gets mad at me. she just shut my phone off and i really cant take it anymore. i went a month without talking to her and she just flipped on me and shut it off. i feel like because of her it is effecting my school life, sports, and my social life...what should i do?

Well i have a boyfriend and he is really nice to me and he likes me a lot. but the thing is....i kinda want to break up with him. hes a nice guy and everything but i just don't feel the sparks. when Im around him its just like"ok, your there...now what?" i don't want to break up with him but im not very happy in this relationship. do you think that i should break up with him? if so how should i go about doing that? breaking up isn't something i do often. and also do you think it is wrong to kiss someone in a play? ok so, i dont talk to him all that often and i really like him so when i do talk to him i turn bright red. he knows that i like him and i have three classes with him in p.e. i sit near him and i look at him then he sees me then he looks and i turn away while he is still looking and then he turns away and i look and so on, in science he looks at me while im not looking and then ill look at him and hell smile and ill smile then one of us will look away. he is not weirded out by me looking at him. we text a lot and i flirt text. there are 2 rumors going around 1, that he likes me but is to scared to ask me out and two that he doesnt like me, everyone is telling me that he likes me bt i dont know for sure and i dont want to ask him out and then say yes b cuz he doesnt want to hrt my feelings becuz he is sweet like that and then hate our date...im in middle school, and no im not going to do that retarded clevge thing. ok help!!!!!!!

My fiance and I are having a private ceremony and having our reception/after party on a later date but its still going to be set up like a regular wedding reception. I was thinking about creating a nice program to give to the guest when they enter which speaks about my fiance and i which will be my husband and I. I was thinking about including a picture of us on the front of it and putting the actual date we got married, when and where we met, our high school names, birthdays, just some random stuff about us... can you help me think of something unique I can add to the program.

Ill also have on their when we will do our toast, lightning of a unity candle., first dance, and cutting of our COngratulations cake... trying to make it like a real reception but the only thing we are going to already be married for maybe a month or two.

I JUST WANT SOME OTHER IDEAS, THAT I MAY NOT THINK OF ... YOU GUYS ARE GREAT...

i met this great guy who has been divorced for 2 years. he has a child from a girlfriend he dated for 3 months. this is his only child. they are fighting for custody and other things that happen within their 3 month relationship. this guy & i have dated for almost 6 months & we get along wonderful with life, goals, wants, sexual, etc. he has a home in another state & a rv that he stays in when traveling for work. he is a construction general contractor. he flys to my city each weekend to spend time with me and have a rental in a city next to me. we are always together at my place and he continues to pay rent for the rental. we have decided for him to move in with me since we love each other & are at my place during the weekends anyway. am i moving too fast? should we be moving in only because of love and not convienence? should i be worried that he may be using me? i have met his child, the child's mother, and family who also live in my city. we are good together. so why am i worried?

I recently found out he's been going to this girl's condo after work for around 10 months now. When I confronted him, he said she was "just sex." He said he called it off, but my friend caught him on camera going to her place. I think he still loves me because he always goes home at night.
