ok i am with this amazing guy. he is in marines bootcamp right now and he will be graduating fri. his parents and brothers are leaving tomorrow to go see him and stuff. but before they leave (i should have done this a long time ago) i wanna call her. he has been writing me ALOT and in every letter he asks me to call his mom and just get to know her and let her get to know me. i have only met her once and i think things went ok...but im totally scared that she will think im weird or something and i really want her to like me...he has even told me that it will dissapoint him if i dont atleast try to get to know her and thats the last thing i want to do. i dont want him to be mad or ne thing...what should i say to her when i call?

You really should call her. I'm sure she wants to get to know you, as well.
Tell her who you are and that your boyfriend wants the two of you to get to know each other.
If she takes the initiative and invites you over or to a function....by all means accept. If not, ask her to meet you for coffee or lunch at a nice cafe.
During the meeting, be yourself, do not act immature (her son is an adult now and you should be, too). Ask questions about his childhood - what he was like, etc. Let her know that you care about her son and will treat him well.
If it is to a cafe or coffee shop that you go, and you invited her...offer to pay the bill, and be willing to do so.
Relax. She'll love you. Most great moms love the women their sons love.

Just keep it simple and start with "Hello".I'm sure everything else will fall into place once you do this.Also it important for your guy to know that your not afraid of his mom just incase if something happens to him.
