Okay, I'm 25, in college, about 5'6", 135 lbs, brown hair (sometimes dyed black), gray eyes, glasses.

Okay, I'm really shy and have a hard time meeting new people. But once I know you I'm fine.

I'm not really into sports or any of the macho stuff. I'm into computers (but not gaming), reading, writing, history. I occasionally party, but not to excess. I drive a crappy old car, and currently don't have a job or much money.

I'm not a 'bad boy' and I'm not a cocky asshole - and I refuse to become one just to MAYBE have a girl like me.

I've only had two serious girlfriends in my entire life - the last one was almost two years ago now. I've never done any sort of casual dating, and never asked anyone out (except for maybe once in high school).

Is there any hope for me? I'm starting to think that I'm really not attractive in ANY way.

Very tight budget. Can you give me some ideas?
Single dad with custody of my 2 kids. I make too much for assistance but due to me ex-wife, my check is being garnished for over $500 a month. She made a loan after we separated and did not pay it back. I have to go through divorce settlement to get that back. So, I have just under $100 for groceries every 2 weeks. Can you give me some ideas to help make that last? I don't get junk food because we cannot afford it.

well her dad is a mean guy and when she was little he touched her. and her mom and dad split up. and recentley they had a custody battle and he won. so if she goes back wth her mom and we get married then her dad cant try and get her. thats not the only reason tho we really love each other and we are not doing it to have kids thats the last thing we want right. her mom is ok with it she is takeing us also. we live in california and need to know what to do. im 17 and she just turned 15 we know we want this in life we love each other so much.were can we go to do it and can we really need some help

I am a freshmen in HS this year and have never had a boyfriend...ONLY crushes. I have never been kissed and never been on a date..... I am kinda a shy person but I thought that I would have a bf by now. All of the guys I like are preppy and popular and I am neither of that. Did anyone else not date much in high school but later on found some one?? I want to grow up and get married but based on middle school and part of high school...I will probably be an old maid. And I highly doubt I will get a bf in the rest of my hs years cuz i live in a small town and all the people in my grade, i am not interested in cuz i have grown up with them since elementary school. Everyone I know has had a boyfriend....and i haven't. I am scared some people will start to think I am a lesbo even though I am NOT! I know that there are some guys that like me but I don't have the same feelings for them that they do for me......is that okay???? I don't really want a bf right now anyways. Please give me advice.

I've heard of this guy who wrote a book about how a single woman can find a man just by dressing up to go grocery shopping or something. I saw him on Oprah. Realistically I don't usually go out looking spiffy to shop. Heck I've gone out without makeup, perfume, and brushed hair. What do you think?

me and my ex broke up in june but we still love each other a lot. we only broke up because we were loosing our focus of the important things out side of our relationship. After we broke up we still claimed each other as hubby and wifey. but he also did a lot of things that hurt me and i forgave him but i'm not sure if i should've. but i can't help but to love him and want to be with him. he's working on growning up so that we can be togetha later. and he wants to marry me in acouple of years and no doubt i want to marry him. but i'm not sure if i should trust that he will change for my love for himor if i should just move on please help me.

theres this guy at school that i am really into. as soon as we met, we clicked instantly. we always talk, joke,and FLIRT like crazy.but sadly, every girl he has gone out with so far are MAJOR WHORES. and every single one of his previous gf's hated me soo much. and for some reason, when he sees me flirt with other guys (i only do this when he is going out with one of his gf's) he got really mad at me, and i would ask why. then he would just blow me off. but the next day everything was back to normal. Why does he get mad, he oviously likes his gf better than me, so y does he care?

Alright, so I have this hot neighbor whos on my bus and I talk to her allot....I got her number today...but whenever my sister is around my confidence is shot. Every time I go to talk to my neighbor my sister gives my this look of disgust like shes ashamed of me...for instance today I sat in seat 11 then my friend wanted to talk so I sat in seat 12....after I was done there was a girl with her arm on my seat so i tapped it out of the way. My sister Looked at me like she was disgusted with me....Shes always constantly telling me I'm ugly and disgusting. Even though I know I'm not. I don't know why this happens but its annoying...and my sister shouldn't be one to judge shes the biggest tramp alive.....
My sister is 16

60s. My father would like to retire with in the next two years and enjoy his life by traveling around the world. My step mom does not want to talk about retirement because she believes when you enjoy what you do why would stop. She also believes people who come from professional class families that they work because they love it and and since my father grew up in a working class family he has the mentality that you work is death. I am just wondering how should this situation be resolved any way besides divorce.

I'm getting divorced soon. I'm in school still, with 2 years left on my bachelor's, and I seem to have a little problem. I keep finding these abusive men. I've come to a conclusion that 95% of men are controlling, no matter how nice they seem at first. I really want to focus on my school, and be totally free to do what I want to do. Being as that I'm 23, I really want to make sure I end this viscious cycle of relationship after relationship (especially the abusive ones). Plus, being in recording arts, my classes are mainly men. I need to learn to keep detached and only think "work" with them.

I'm extremely independent natured, and I don't know how I keep continuing the relationship cycle. I really want to stop this, and continue on a life full of my dreams and goals.

I won't have health insurance after the divorce (only student health, but can't afford the dr). Are there any books, phone counseling, free counselors, etc that I could find very useful??

I have been with my boyfriend for about one year 1/2. A few months ago, he went to visit his family in another country. Shortly after he returned, he invited me over to his house one afternoon. When I got there he was asleep and not wanting to disturb, I went to check my email. His email was open, and even though I shouldn't have, I saw a picture of his private parts sent by email to a woman who he obviously met while visiting his family. I confronted him and he admitted it was wrong and he was sorry, but that nothing happened and it was innocent flirtation. This happened one month ago. I still do not think I trust him. I asked him to send an email to her telling her he was involved in a monogomous relationship and that he only thinks of her as a friend. He has refused to do this, saying I am being controlling and that she is truly a friend. I have argued.. ad nauseum.. that how could he said a "friend" a picture like that??? Your thoughts? I'm still struggling with forgiveness...
