Nope. I find the "human" race intersting. Coming from a mixed background I can understand the pressure of dating a certain nationality. Go with who YOU like, not who THEY like. After all that may be the person you spend the rest of your life with and you will be happier if it was YOUR choice.

When you make friends, it does not matter what color they are..............the only difference is that when they are your same nacionality, they will have kind of the same culture, same beliefs (well, not always), but you will feel more identify with this person, but that does not mean that you can not make friends with everybody.
One beautiful thing that certain people has is that they find interesting the cultures of other people and more beautiful than that is they they respect it and only concentrate on their hearts and atittude towards life.
Even in marriages, if couple don't respect his/her partner's believes and cultures, then they will face big conflicts later when raising a family.

I think that race and color are not the most important things in a relationship. The most important things are core values... how you feel on family, love, marriage, children, education, religion etc. Also important is how they treat you (respect). And I always believed that they should make you laugh. Those are more important than skin color, size, hair color, etc.

Hell no, i would respect their wishes, i would tell them that love or relationships arent' based on a certain race. By limiting yourself to one or race, then you aren't truely living life. You should experience the world as it is and not let anyone, even your parent let you otherwise not experience life and its joys.

Thats tough. I wouldn't listen. I don't see race as an issue and would never think of saying that to my kids.

you fall in love with a person because of the person that they are, not what race they are. If listen to them now, you'll be listening to them for the rest of your life.

You should be able to make your own choice of who you fall in love with. Your parents really have no rite to "dictate" who you can or cannot fall in love with. That's kind of "old fashioned" & they no doubt were told that by your grandparents. So, should your grandparents have the rite to tell you who to love & who not to?! I don't think so, times certainly have changed, & have they ever!

I wouldn't listen. I can't be bothered with things like that. I'm very open about who I'm attracted to. I can't limit myself, not even for my family.
