I've heard of this guy who wrote a book about how a single woman can find a man just by dressing up to go grocery shopping or something. I saw him on Oprah. Realistically I don't usually go out looking spiffy to shop. Heck I've gone out without makeup, perfume, and brushed hair. What do you think?

Well firstly a guy should like you for you not for all the jewellry clothes and make up you have on but lets face it men are attracted too looks first and foremost. I wouldnt say going to the grocery store dressed up like your going out for a night on the town would be a good look as you would look a bit out of place. But sure wear what makes you feel cute or sexy and groomed ofcourse. Looks fade matey so hopefully the men you attract like you for you personality , anyways eventually they will wake up beside you one morning hair unbrushed, no make up and ni ya pj's and i am sure you wont look the cutest then....just be you.

Hey when I go to the grocery I do check out the women there. I do have to say that I wish women would not wear to much makeup. Some is OK and good, but the less you can wear and still look good the better. Also, girls who dress all sexy and stuff do get my attention, but I find myself less likely to talk to them. I like to see a girl who dresses nice and looks clean. There is no reason to go all out and get dressed up unless you have an event where you would need to. A nice pair of jeans and a cute tank top or t-shirt is cute and looks good on girls I think. If they are all made up they look like they are trying to impress someone. So I say a casual sexy look is good. Just my opinion, and this is just how I feel about it. Sorry I answered I know you wanted girls responses but I just wanted to give my 2 cents on the issue. =)

I always dress for me. I don't go over the top and the only make up I wear is eyeliner and mascara. I think guys will like you for who you are, I've met heaps of decent guys even when I wasn't dressed up!

I like it when chics dress spiffy or even better,really skimpy. But I just don't know how to ask a woman on a date in those kind of situations however. Could U help me please girlygurl?
