I read a newspaper article today that quoted a woman with the last name of Rine-Stone (I swear). It got me to thinking about what some other funny hyphenated names might be. For example, if Jane Snow married John White, she'd be Snow-White. If Joy Summer married Kevin Winter, she's be Summer-Winter. If Becky Gnu married Bobby York, she'd be Gnu-York. What other ones can you come up with?

It's not hyphenated, but I once knew a girl who had a friend named Shanda Lear. What kind of parent would do that to their kid!

If Lee Remick married Lee Marvin ... she'd be Lee Marvin.

An old fellow from eastern Europe moved into our neighborhood when I was a little girl. His name was Mr. Jacob Cass. As he become more Americanized, he asked us to call him "Jake" instead of Jacob. This was fine, but a few years later he started calling himself "Jack."

They were brilliant Cymraes. In my opinion, Poore Sapp was the funniest. Just speaks volumes.
