if they told you their dad was abusing them, locking them in the dark, spanking them, etc?

I am getting so much mixed advice from family and friends. I am so lost, I dont want his father to be out of his life - but I need to keep my child out of harm's way.

Should I get the child custody arrangement redone? We have a 50/50 legal and physical.

Given that there are no tax benefits, and that children are the responsibility of both parents whether you are married or not?

Also, if your reasons are stability, what sort of stability - emotional, financial?

Was there social pressure in the era/region you got married in?

I've been looking for a while, and I need help finding a strapless, backless, wedding dress.

Now, I've looked through the similar questions, and I'm appalled by how rude some of the answers were. There is no need to be rude, so please, if you want to tell me that I'm a skank or something, please keep it to yourself, because I don't want to have to give you a violation.

I need it to be fully backless, because I'm going to be getting a full corset piercing up my back.

I got a guy friend who has told me he has only been in 3 relationships two lasting a year each and the one at the mo bout two yrs so far. Anyway he said he dumps them as soon as they act different ie have a hissy fit. The girl hes been going out with has been in uni for the past yr or so so he sees her on breaks and two days aweek other times. Do u think it will work as this is the second time he has been engaged to a gal and people think theyre not a good match. Why he told me this i dont know as i havent known him that long.

I'm 34 and I've been seeing this much younger guy, he's 22. It was supposed to be a no strings sex thing between us then we got more personal. We both were acting like we were actually in a relationship. Then he got scared and said that i am too attached and now he just wants to be friends, etc. ( i know that's not true cuz the sex is great!!!!!)
We have not talked in over a week now and i've ben sending texts and called twice and he only responded ot 1 of my texts. my friend said i should stop sending him desperate texts and lay off for awhile, then apologize and say i was just tripping and all i want from him is to have booty calls from time to time. do u think he'll buy it cuz that is all i really want. i just got carried away. do u think it's too late or what can i say for another chance?

I want to call authorities, but I don't know what they might do. What are your thoughts on this?

For no reason, but then they say it's a shame how we don't get along. But they advise her to ignore me & stay away from me. I know we had a hectic childhood & stuff, & people get turned off & hate us for being twins who can't get along. & can never try to reason with her or talk things out. When I say I'm sorry, my twin sister thinks I'm starting an argument back up again, when I'm trying to cease our tension. Why & how is it childish for me to want to improve our relationship? & people say, "You're not only sisters, but you're TWINS!" & we can't even share the same friends. She bullies me, beats up on me, starts false, defaming rumors about me, & takes my money & straight ABUSES me. Lately, I've been trying to contact her & see how she & her kids are doing, & she straight ignores me, & I don't know what I did to upset her. But if I worry about the past, people call me childish. But she's obviously dwelling on the past/negative to be holding grudges against me. Right?

me and my boyfriend accidently went overboard.. to the extend we almost had sex.. we promised not to but well it was an accident..
anyway, we realized it could not go in.. as in we tried so many times but it jus wouldn't go in.. why? we tried so many positions.. lying down, standing up, sitting down, dog style.. and alot of other ways but it wouldn.t go in..
he said when he wanted to go in, i suddenly was dry.. is that a reason to why it cant go in? or is he jus too big? or were we too frustrated that we weren't relaxed enough? what's wrong with us?

...I'm with my boyfriend 2 months...and he is complaing all the time moslty about food...otherwise he is a very good and positive guy...but here you go likes to complain....

I'm not feeling comfortable with that attitude...and also there is a sign that tomorrow he will do the same with me....

My gut feeling is telling me that something is wrong...I know that bothers me this attitude of complaining but not just that...there is something more than I cannot explain....

Any similar experiences....

I'm I overeacting or am I right to be afraid that he is not the one...?

My marriage has not been peachy cream, however I hold true to "for better or for worse". I got pregnant he walked out of my life when I was 3 months and left me with the mortage and no financial support. We have been seperated 7 months to this date and he has indicated he has moved on with another women and has admitted to cheating on me from day one. I have delieverd the baby and I can count on one hand how many times he has visit her. I never hear from him and when I call he never answers the phone, I dont know were he resides. Its like he just packed up and moved on as if I never exsist...This is very puzzling to me because how could a man whom you married do such a thing....Part of me loves him and the other half would like the opportunity to whoop his a$$! He has not filed for divorce as of yet and I feel why should I be the one to do so when he walked out on me and plus how could I afford it? I have cried so much these past months Im suprised I still have tears. Dont judge!!!

I just got out of a 1 half year of a bad relationship. Don’t get me wrong there were good times too but all I can remember is the bad times. Now it has been 6 months and I’m over with the hard part of thinking about him every min of my time, and also not have his face pop in my mind when I wake up. Now I guess I’m just seeing what else is out there for me. But every time a gay try to get close to me I step back. And never call them again. Why is that? My ex-husband & I share custody of our daughter & she has pierced ears, my ex had put some gold small hoop earrings in her ears (she's 3 yrs old & normally she wears studs) & I expressed my concern about them. He told me not to worry & she would be fine. Now I am against the whole thing with babies having pierced ears, but it was done without my consent or knowledge & I never took the earrings out because I wanted to keep the peace. Anyhow, being 3 years old she plays a lot at pre-school & toss & turns when she sleeps. One day I noticed that the earrings were missing & I couldn't find them. My ex wants me to give him $75 to replace them. My ex has a court order to pay half of pre-school costs & has never given me one cent towards it. He owes me thousands & thousands of dollars for pre-school. He also owes my Mother about $800 for misc. things from when we were married. Should I give him the $75? Should I deduct it from the money he owes me? Or should I not owe him any money at all?

It's my husband John's birthday on Tuesday, he will be 72. He is a big kid at heart and he is saying that owing to the postal strike he will not receive any birthday cards.
Can every body out there wish him a happy birthday and make his day.
He does not know I have posted this and if I get loads of wishes I will print them off Tueday morning and hang them around the room. We have 4 days so PLEASE lets make it a record of votes.
I would also like to thank all the staff at out 3 hospitals that have all had a part in saving his life (Cancer). that is St Richards in Chichester, St Mary's in Portsmouth and The Queen Alexandra in Cosham. Also our local Doctors.

There is no way to say this w.o. anyone freaking. My young friend (16) and husband's best friend (24) are dating. About 10/11 months now. They met each other thru us (no intention of them ever dating PERIOD!). She is my best friend's sister. I never approved of it but hoping it wouldn't last. She always believed to be a virgin till marriage. Well he has changed her. She is very outspoken now and more confident. Well I found out 3 weeks ago they started to have sex back in July. I COMPLETELY FREAKED! I see her as my little sister. And since her real sister never steps in to guide her. I told her I feel that she is going through this all the wrong way and it makes me feel like I am loosing a little respect for her for hiding this and completely doing opposite as she has always said (hypocrite?). i broke up with my boyfriend or 5 months a month ago, and even after we broke up, we kept talking on the phone for about a month. i still loved him and i know he still has feelings for me too. he was constantly giving me hopes for a patch up.

until one day after a quarrel, he stopped calling me.when i asked him why, he said he had moved on and he doesnt feel like talking to me.

Its a long story but my Moms sister (aunt) her husband, 3 sons(my cousins) all over 40 and their wives have not contacted me, my mom or my sister in 4 years..

4 years ago we decided to spend christmas on our own rather with them which we always had done. My cousin at the time who was 50 wrote a letter to my Mom, saying how upset he is we were going on vacation for x-mas, he said "oh Boy, wow cant believe your doing this, this is going to be the first x-mas without you since your children (meaning me and my sis) were born. He was being sarcastic throughout the letter.

Couple of months after that my Mom didnt call for his bday because he never calls us for ours and felt it was no big deal,, we get a message from him saying "gee i hope your ok, what did i do",, again i feel being sarcastic.
Then the next day his wife leaves a message saying, "How could you not call my hubby for his 51st bday, dont call us anymore, we dont want to hear from you"
None of them have contacted us
