It's my husband John's birthday on Tuesday, he will be 72. He is a big kid at heart and he is saying that owing to the postal strike he will not receive any birthday cards.
Can every body out there wish him a happy birthday and make his day.
He does not know I have posted this and if I get loads of wishes I will print them off Tueday morning and hang them around the room. We have 4 days so PLEASE lets make it a record of votes.
I would also like to thank all the staff at out 3 hospitals that have all had a part in saving his life (Cancer). that is St Richards in Chichester, St Mary's in Portsmouth and The Queen Alexandra in Cosham. Also our local Doctors.

Hello Doris and John
I believe the strike is for 48 hours and is due to end at midday tomorrow so hopefully John will get his cards on time. Backlog permitting.
If he does or does not, I am delighted to wish him the happiest and healthiest or birthdays and many more of them.
I am catching John up fast and like him am a great kid at heart. I would not have it any other way. As we get older we are allowed to be sillier than when we were younger, in fact its expected.
I too echo your thanks to the medical staff who have so ably cared and treated John. On more than one occasion I have been more than thankful to hospitals, nurses and surgeons who have saved my wifes life.
