I'm a 22-year-old college student. I go to school and work full time. I live with my sister in an apartment we share. We have been independent from our parents for about three years.
My boyfriend is 25, and also a college student. He works for his parents and still lives with them (rent-free). Here's my problem: My boyfriend's mother has absolutely forbid him from staying the night at my apartment. She threatens financially cutting him off if he does. Even if we happen to fall asleep watching tv, he wakes up around 3 or 4 and drives an hour home so that his car will be in the driveway by the time she wakes up. We've gone out with friends to bars on weekends, and he won't even drink because he has to make the drive home (I commend the no drinking and driving, it's the fact that her rules are impeding on our social life.)
Isn't it ridiculous to demand a 25 year old man to follow such rules? She says she's preventing premarital sex. I say she needs to mind her own business. Am I wrong?

I am seriously out of options. I was going to go to a singles dance, but only old people go to those, so ther would be no young women my age there. I am not in school, I work full-time; so that is out. I would go to a club or a bar and grill but I know women in those places are very hostile to guys. I tried online dating and I failed. What can I do?

My father is 82 years old and is in good health for his age . He retired 15 years ago and is pretty lonely. He basically just hangs around the house and has a typical elderly routine (one which I know he dislikes, but doesn't have anyone to get him out of it). Although my mother is still alive and are still married, they have grown apart over the years and don't have a lot in common anymore. I currently live 1000 miles away from them, but will be moving back to within five hours of him very soon. This means I can visit more regularly and do more things with him. But we don't have similar interests either and my father doesn't really have much of a passion for anything in particular.

I guess what I am asking/wanting is to be closer to my father and not simply have my visits be just hanging around the house just doing small talk. Does anyone have any suggestions for things to do in particular or to how grow to closer to an elderly parent in general?

Any thoughts are much appreciated!

My husband is a major alcholic, all we do is fight when he drinks which is all the time, i'm so sick of it and I want to leave him but he controls all the money and I have a daughter, does anyone know where I can turn? Today I do not play any more, a little tired to give the exchange…. that made more than 10 months that I do not operate any more, nearly 6 months that I do not play golf any more and does not practice any more any sport, nearly 4 months that I do not have any more any hair, nearly 4 months also that my skin is burned, nearly one year that I fight against a dirtiness of cancer which (irony of the fate!) falls within the competence of my speciality….Then after the surgery, the chimio and the radiotherapy, the forecast, have there a long time that I did made it… that a few months that I am with you, I spent a few good moments there… And perhaps that it allowed me to last a little more… is opened, more cools as, benefits all from the life, it is worse more as ever… I embrace of all my heart those and those which will be recognized. Tomorrow I return in palliative care… bye, I hope that there is god up there....

I see questions on here all the time about this. Women who think that their husband is cheating just because he talks to women.

I have never done a damn thing to cheat on my wife, but I talk all the time with female coworkers, about our lives, problems, etc. I go out to lunch with them. We (as a group) go out for beer and wings. I have even travelled for training alone a few times with one of them. My wife believes in me and I have never given her reason to believe otherwise. Although what I describe most people would scream "CHEATING!!" to, I have done and will do no such thing.

Why are people so quick to assume that?

I have been the primary caregiver of the child since he born , the father he didn't ask to see the child till the child was 6 months bcause i took him to the court , i have now the interm custody of the child and he has the access , the Jug miontened last time that the joint custody it's something far away from happning because there was a violonce against me when i was pregnant he abused me , Do you think I'll get the sole custody next court date ? The father is unemployed he's on ODSP(disability) he's lazy he doen't have any health problem .and there is no contact between us since the abuse happen he see the child in the access center supervised but it'll be unsepervised when we go back to the court ,
Do you see any chance for me to get a sole custody ?

it's been nearly ten months ago and i'm still not over it. he would always tell me if it happened then we would have the baby. he knows i'm crazy about them. this is both our second marriage and we have kids from previous marriages 19,17,12 & 10. none together. about 2 months before i got pregnant i made it very clear that he was to pull out (sorry) or use something b/c i didn't feel he really wanted one & our relationship is not a good. (past abuse) and i didn't want to go through an abortion. i wouldn't be able to live with myself. he wouldn't listen and kept doing his thing. i would be pissed after but he didn't care. then i got pregnant!! he was cold about it and ouwln't talk to me about it. he didn't want it &i knew i had to have an abortion. i knew i didn't want to raise this baby on my own. i know i'm to blame for not protecting myself. i hate myself for this and i can't put it behind me. every baby i see makes me cry! i feel as long as i'm w/him i'll never get over it.

My husband snores And it is so bad, I have been tempted to take a large pan and bang it in his face. I have been sleeping in my child's room for over a month and I know that this will only create another problem. i no i asked this alrdy but i cant get to it. im 14. and i dont know what to do anymore. I have a younger cousin who has lukiemia. she isnt donin good. she is 4 & had it for 2 yrs. they cant give her anymore treatment or else she will die they can only give her low grade kimo. i wish there was somethin i could do for her i wish it was me. shes just a baby. the other night around midnight she was rushed to the hospital she got a stomach virus and because her body was so weak & her immune system was low it became deadly they had to revive her twice and it almost didnt work the 2nd time. i was up and crying for 6 hours strait. wen her parents got home,i was babysitting their other 2 kids they sent me home and said they didnt know how she was doin but she was stable. i dont know what to do. how do i learn to accept the fact that she will be better off in heaven where she wont suffer? i cant stand to lose her and i dont know what i will do if she passes away how can i help her and myself?

Ok i am having major boy problems and none of my friends no what to do so im asking you for help....heres the problem.
Boy #1 and i decide to b flirty friends and see where things go. Boy#2 is best friends with Boy#1. i know for sure that Boy #2 knows that Boy#1 likes me but idk if Boy#1 knows that Boy#2 likes me. 2 days after Boy#1 and i decide to b flirty friends Boy#2 says he wouldnt mind hooking up with me(in this case means make out) n that he likes me. Boy#2 is cuter than Boy#1 but i dont want to break up friendships and I dont want to dis Boy#1. This also get messier because I am in the school play with both Boy 1 and Boy 2. So if i filrt more with one than the other it will b noticed.

Ok...so a while ago was Homecoming...and I liked/like a guy.
So I decided to be stupid and write him a note asking if he was going with anybody and if not...if he wanted to go with me...
That was a huge mistake! Some how all my friends got involved....and one of my friends some how got him to think that she was the one wanting to go with him...because she kept asking him questions for me.....after being a little freaked out...i ended up giving him the note...and he said he had a girlfriend in another school....so Sep. 23, 07 was Homecoming....and its now Oct. 4, 07....In class at school today, he was really upset about something...and then in Robotics (after school thing...buld robots...etc...) He started actually talking to me! But instead of being nice...he starts kinda yelling at me...if i did something wrong (in his view) or what ever...he would just snap at me!...
Everybody I told this thinks he likes me......Do you think so??
