Just like men like a lady in public and a playmate in private, I think most women like a manly man who can be sensitive and affectionate when the occassion calls for it.

Peace!

it all depends, now, doesn't it? i have a bf now who is TOO sensitive sometimes and i seem like i am more of the man of the relationship. at that time, i prefer a manly man. . .but when that happens (when he becomes, ie, jealous) i want the cute affectionate back.

truth is, we women don't really know what we want.

sorry ladies, but you know it's true in some cases.

so your answer: be both. . .test the waters, see what she responds most positive to and be that. . .simple right?. . .RIGHT?!

Sensitive and affectionate men are better because they'll listen to you and are caring. Manly men are cocky and pretty self centered.

But a combo of both would be good.

Neither is a really good choice, I think it's more of a combination of the both. It's nice to have a manly man, that way you feel safe *&* taken care of but it's also nice to have a sensitive guy to lay around *&* cuddle with.

All women prefer sensitive and affectionate men over complete douchebags.

That's just the way it is.

A girls dream guy is some manly man, with sensitivity mixed in. I don't like it when women over dream their perfect guy. Their perfect guy is right under their nose, which would be all the shy guys.

All of the above-- LOL
At the end of the day, I want a man who will hold me in his arms and talk to me about his hopes and dreams. I want a man who knows about books and poetry. I'm not looking for a knuckle-dragger.
But... don't want someone TOO feminine, either. I want to be able to feel that he'll punch someone out who makes a rude comment about me. I want a guy who's not afraid to get his hands dirty fixing my car. But, if I had to lean one way or the other, I'm leaning towards sensitive.
