We are really good friends. But I like him a lot. I keep trying to covince myself that I don't like him, but I can't seem to get him off my mind. He always talks about this other girl who he likes. And he asks me how to get her to notice him. But I wonder: How do I get him to notice ME?

Believe it or not, this tends to be a good position to be in. The reason is that he's confiding in you. You are his friend! While he's going ga-ga over another girl, take advantage of this. Be sure to keep a strong friendship. Talk to him a lot and give him advice. Just be there for him. If things don't work out with this other girl, he may just start looking at you in a different way. I've seen it happen before personally. Just don't throw yourself at him. Be cool and be a great friend. There's a good chance he'll appreciate a lot more in the future!

ouch.. thats a tough one. I guess theres nothing you can do to convince him if he feels that way about the other girl. Well, i guess you can be everything he needs, look gorgeous, & maybe he will come around. Dont ever tell him how you feel while he is still going after the other girl

Once I was totally into this girl right, but i decided to add a bit of spice to the situation by acting like i was in love with someone else & sh was just a friend. I also asked her for advise on how to get the other girl etc, all the while I knew that this other 1 wanted me badly. Eventually I turned the table & started showing that I was in love with her. It could have been much simpler but i prefer a bit of a chase.
So yeah, maybe he might already know how you feel.. guys can tell i think

I'm in the same situation! Only I don't know how my friend who's a guy likes.

Just be really nice to him I guess. Do a lot of fun stuff as "just friends" and maybe eventually he'll see you as more.

Say you had a date to go to the movies with a guy and he let you down at the last minute and would he like to go with you instead. Let your womanly charms take it from there.

I would bet that if you act as if you are unfazed by his carrying on about this girl and (this might sound crazy) even offer up encouraging advice when he asks for it, you may find yourself being admired by him sooner than you think.

If you tell him you like him the way he likes the other girl you may ruin your friendship or create a romance. He may have considered you and not found you to be what he wants for romance but more like a beloved sister.

Ask him to hook you up with a buddy of his that may be just a little hotter, or more buff. If the thought of you with his buddy doesn't sway him then it's not meant to be. Truth.

Mimic the other girls' behavior. Better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody...
