I read a book called Black Love Signs and it freaked me out!!! It said alot of things about capricorns that were true and almost everything it said about geminis was true (in my case). Anybody else with these signs married & miserable? Suggestions please! Weve been 2gether since we were 14 now 29. How in the hell?... I dont even know!

Yeah I just had an argument with my parents coz they want me to dress "nicely" but my idea of nice and there idea of nice is completely different. They want me to stop wearing black stufff as they say it looks nasty and they want me to wear bright stuff and I really don't wanna but anyway I just said i dont wanna wear your idea of nice clothes and they were all like well you will and i saaid you can't make me and walked away. Now they are peed off and I feel quite bad about it but I don't wanna apologise to them

How can I get round this without having to wear bright clothes

The other night I was at a party and some guys I'm friends with dared me to flash them so I unbuttoned my shirt and flashed them. Then I sat down between them on the couch but never buttoned my shirt. My boyfriend walked in later and saw me sitting between the two guys with my shirt all the way unbuttoned and he got really mad. I didn't do anything with the guys I just wasn't thinking when I sat down. What can I say to my boyfriend to make him understand I wasn't doing anything with those guys? I can't tell him I flashed them because he got mad at me before for flashing other guys.

My relationship ended 4 months ago as he didn't want committment and said he had fallen out of love after 3 years of being as i thought so happy. Our sex life was always perfect and he always put 100percent into the sex life, if we didn't sleep together for a few days he would think i had gone off him. Although he ended it because i asked for committment he said i had been a wonderful girlfriend but he needed to be single again. He is 39 and never been married or lived with anyone. We remained friends and last week i told him i was over him completely and how would he fancy sex. After a few days he agreed and we slept together. I felt so gutted again to leave him afterwards as i truly believe we could sort things out. We always enjoyed the same things and never argued. Cannot understand his ending things if he said i was an amazing partner. I feel now after having sex with him twice since. i feel worse than ever but can't seem to stop. I love him so much and want him back.

Professionally and personally I have noticed a pattern in people, women more often than men, who survive an abusive childhood (severely neglected, emotionally abused or physically abused). To me the abused person seems likely to devote his/her adulthood to pleasing the offending parent(s) seeking constant approval. A person raised in a healthy supportive environment who was encouraged to have individuality doesn’t seem to have the same need to display devotion.

The marriage partner that was abused then demands his/her mate also spends energy on a fruitless mission of making the abusive family happy. Often the installable partner then creates dilemma’s that force the stable partner to choose sides/families. A wedge is driving into the stable family.

Is anyone in this situation? What do you think the stable partner can do to maintain respect and a healthy relationship with his/her own family with a mate is creating John Steinbeck quality situations that have no happy ending?

I am from a small family but my husband has many sisters. We all live very far from each other. Each time we go to visit his mother, all of them would come to join us. All meaning 20 something people with hubs/bfs and kids. We all stay in a 2 bedroom place - you can image... One of the sisters - I will call her "Jane", would go wherever we go, with her kids and sometimes her husband too.
Jane would find out where we go for our vacation and would try to arrange their vacation to join us. Once we were at a cottage and she and two kids joined us the whole time. Another time we wanted to go to a beach place, she emailed us telling us that she wanted to join us with her family for 6 days. I really had enough of it so I emailed her back telling her that we would rather vacation alone. We stopped talked to each other since...
Am I being unreasonable or is she the problem?

I cut my hair off recently cos it was sooo annoying. It was as long as it was in my avatar. Anyway now its short my parents keep telling me it looks good. and even my mates parents said it looked fantastic now. Everyone says it suits me now. When I left the hairdressers the bloke said 'all the girls will be falling for you with that'. Hasnt worked tbh as i have problem approaching girls. Im starting to rant on a bit. ANyway i still feel the same. I thought it would give me a confidence boost and tbh it did but that left after a day. Any ideas?

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were hugging and kissing. I told hm I loved him and he responded quickly that he loved me very much. He then told me I'm very beautiful and then he kissed my hand. Why would he stop and do this? I was really touched by this. Is this a good thing?

I am raising a little boy (he's 7 now) and I am curious to know what men today say about their childhood in regards to their mothers. Things like events that stick out in your mind or maybe things you wish would not have happened. Did she smother you too much? Or not enough? And how do you think that affects who you are today and your current relationship with her as an adult. Do you wish you could do anything different or that she had done something different? Or maybe she was great and you never wanted it any other way... what was so great?

When women get angry about their guys relentless gawking at other women, people say "what chance does he have with those women, anyway? What are you worried about? She's way too hot for him."

Don't they realize that's salt in an open wound? Why not just say, "yeah, she's hotter than you and he would like to bang her if she would give him the time of day. But she won't because she's too hot for him. You are not as good looking, so he is settling for you because you aren't as attractive as the women he really wants."?

Well I recently have been thinking about it and I do not like my Dad. He isn't nice to me really. He says things like "quit being an idiot" and when I get in trouble, he yells so loud. There are SO many reasons why I don't like him but I'd rather not say all of them. I wish I had another Dad. And he will NEVER change I bet. Does anyone else not like their mom or dad?

and said cruel and viciously unkind things and had to be pulled off you.

My mom died one month ago..today we went to split up stuff. I did not want to go as too soon but coerced by my brother,. ALL of my 5 siblings took items saying they purchased them (no problem),,I asked for a plague I had engraved for my dad the year he died. My brother wanted it. I had previously told the executer another borther I wanted this 4 times. They gave it to my brother. I oprotested saying it was unfair that they all took items they purchased and iof I had to put mine in the "raffle", then they needed to put their stuff there too. One brother threw the book at me and nearly hit me in the mouth with it..there there you selfish person and then started yelling and saying vial things about me and saying he was leaving..his wife said don't let her rob you of your joy..all the sudden my sister lunged at me and started trying to choke me and crying and putting me down very badly and saying acting like

So, long story,I'll attempt to tell it as quickly as possible:I'm 23-My dad quickly began a downward spiral 3 yrs ago which led to drug abuse and eventually a fatal heroin overdose a few months ago. A week before that,a good friend/ex boyfriend(together almost 4 yrs) was killed. I say that just to let you know what kind of emotional state i've been in. Its been a few months now and for the most part I've got myself together...but sometimes I have uncontrollable breakdowns. I take out my anger on my boyfriend. I'm paranoid that he's going to use drugs again(he was a past heroin addict)...even though he's been clean for years, has a son,and has his act together 100%. I feel terrible that I lash out because I'm upset with my father for leaving me. My boyfriend has been so understanding and supportive. I know he's not in turmoil anymore, which I'm happy about. But its still tough.I feel like I'm going to lose it sometimes-i'm increasingly paranoid , I don't want to ruin my relationship

About 3 months ago I had a short affair (about 3 weeks) with a lady. I ended the affair, and cut off all contact with the woman. I am trying to repair my relationship with my wife (she knows about the affair). It was a huge mistake and will take a long time to ever repair our marriage. But I'm trying. My ex-lover's husband recently sent me an email, saying he is still angry and hurt and would love to tell all my family, friends, neighbors about what happened. I have never met him. Should I reply to his mesage with an aplogy - or just leave it be?
