I wrote my husband who is in afghanistan , a love letter and he hasnt written back...and i poured my heart out to him....can you guys think of any reasons why he hasnt written back?

I can think of a number of reasons: 1.) he never received it, 2.) he hasn't had time to respond to a lengthy letter with a lengthy reply, he is in a war zone after all, 3.) you just haven't received his reply yet, 4.) he doesn't realize he needs to respond directly and thinks it was just nice of you to tell him all that, which since he is your husband he supposedly already knows, 5.) he's a man.

Because he hasnt had the opportunity to. Where is he stationed? how long has it been? My best friend is lucky to hear from her husband every couple weeks... Hunny he is fighting for his life over there, he may treasure the letter he got from you every day, and just not have time to get back to you. Dont read too much into it, and try and find a support group on the base where you are stationed for other military wives as well.

I wrote one many moons in the past with all of my contacts in it I nonetheless have it on my laptop thankfully as Yahoo deleted it. here that's. ohGr began writing some epic fabric So I positioned down my coffee and cereal Now, there grow to be a time in Poetry land whilst Rj grow to be the guy i'm no longer a variety of of a poet, yet of dark humor, i'm a fan in case you like to invade a small u . s . a ., pass to JC And in case you like a hat, then Fedora is the girl to make certain Hellz is solid at giving solutions crammed with relaxing In exhilaration & Sorrow is in eire waiting for the sunlight Pityboyblues is between the Yahoo greats And Rikitikitavi has wit everybody could crave Chrysi is somebody who's consistently candy And rumor has it Fizzdude smells of ft and that i can't locate something that rhymes with Chop Chop grasp Onion So i think i visit shrink my debut and run. : )

He may be a tad bit busy. He may be seeing and doing things that you and I would think are horrible and just can't switch his mind over to write a love letter. You should be writing him almost daily. Believe me he is looking forward to your letters even if they aren't mushy love letters. People in the military that are away from home really look forward to letters from home even if all you can think to write about is boring as hell he will appreciate it greatly.

I wouldn't really want to say it's one thing or another. Until you get into contact with him there's no sense in getting yourself worried. If you're worried if he's ok or not, maybe there is some way you could find out. Is he in the armed forces, maybe they can let you know if you're that worried. But until you hear the reasons from him, try not to let your mind wander.

Maybe he hasn't had the opportunity. Maybe he did write back and you haven't received it yet. Be patient. I'm sure that he's going through a lot of things there that consume his thoughts.

Are you sure he got the letter? Do you know how long the letter it is to get to there and how long it has to come back?

How long did it take for you to write that letter?
Ok...now take that time, add 2 weeks for his brain to process, plus the time it takes for them to get their mail, which is what like two weeks, add another weeke to write a response and then another week to rewrite it. That is like 1 month plus postal time.

it is possible that he never even received your letter. i doubt the mail system over there is all that great. plus, i don't know why specifically he is over there - but my guess is that he's busy and not just laying around by the pool on vacation.

How long ago did you send it? Maybe he hasn't gotten it yet or maybe he isn't any good at putting his feelings down on paper. Maybe he wasn't sure how to take it. Men take time to think things through....Not sure. You will have to ask him next time you talk to him or write him. Maybe he didn't get it at all......sorry not sure
