Yeah I just had an argument with my parents coz they want me to dress "nicely" but my idea of nice and there idea of nice is completely different. They want me to stop wearing black stufff as they say it looks nasty and they want me to wear bright stuff and I really don't wanna but anyway I just said i dont wanna wear your idea of nice clothes and they were all like well you will and i saaid you can't make me and walked away. Now they are peed off and I feel quite bad about it but I don't wanna apologise to them
How can I get round this without having to wear bright clothes

How about a compromise?
Tell them you are willing to wear more color when you are out with them or with them. But that you want to be yourself and wear what makes you comfortable to school and with your friends.
