Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were hugging and kissing. I told hm I loved him and he responded quickly that he loved me very much. He then told me I'm very beautiful and then he kissed my hand. Why would he stop and do this? I was really touched by this. Is this a good thing?

It sounds to me like an honest response. Beautiful is a term that isn't used very often anymore. Usually the guy will say you're sexy hot or whatever but when he tells you that you are beautiful he is probably being very sincere and he is not only talking about your outer beauty but your inner beauty as well. Don't question it, appreciate it.

Why wouldn't it be a good thing? My boyfriend kisses my hand still after almost 2 years. Try not to assume the worst.

Guys can't alway say "the three little words" on their own.

Some guys write notes, some guys give presents, some guys do little things(like wash dishes),some have their own alternate words.

Once you figure out the language, you'll know what to look for...

That is a very sweet and powerful gesture. It shows that he was listening, and he is very much into you as you are him. It also usually means, he respects you as well.

He's showing you that he means what he's saying.

It's a really sweet gesture. It's romantic too.

I'm happy for you two.:)

it depends... have you told him you loved him before? usually this means he's the weaker in the relationship and he hasn't heard you say it as often as he would like.
