but isn't in reality we aren't really equal:

we both are different physically, mentally and emotionally.
if we are equal why would i have to open the door for the ladies?
if we are equal why men are more responsible to pay child support?
if we are equal why men are required to sign for the Army after turning 18?
is your father the same as your mother?
will you protect your sister similar like your brother?
and if we are truly equal, then how come no woman become president for the USA until now?

in reality, are we equal?

See, there's this girl who I have known for about a year now and we are decent friends who always go on group dates and the like, but for the past few months she's acting pretty strangely. Like one day we can talk and she can be as cold as ice, and then the next day she professes that she loves me and can't keep her hands off me [which I don't mind at all.] Yet whenever i ask just to take her out casually as friends either to a dinner, a movie, or to the beach with just the two of us, she declines, yet she gets extremely pissed and aggressive if she sees me hanging around other girls, even if is meaningless. She has me totally confused since no other girl I've dated has ever turned a date down, and judging by the way she acts around other gals especially, and since she isn't dating anyone, it leads me to believe that maybe is it possible that she is lesbian, or something? Still, when the times for us to return to college, she hides, shuts off communication and refuses to say gbye

I have a 12 year old that has never knowen her real dad .he left us since she was 4months old .i remarried when she was 10 months old so she belives he is her father .after 12 years her real blood father shows up and tells her his her dad .i told her it wasnt true .what should i do ..tell her ? or not .legal wise what do i do ? someone help me

my mother got injured at work and when they were sopose to put her on light duty they didn;'t and she got reinjured worse and than was out of work for months due to this even though she had a doctors note they still fired her. She appealed it and losed. She worker for the government sio it's a lost case. She can't seem to find a job. I'm sure her age is something to do with it she's 50 with 15 years of nursing Assisant experience but not certified. She can't do that type of eork anymore because of the demand and is unable to do that kind of work because of what iis expected and her back is now not strong enough for it. But all interviewers believe that she is going to go back to nursing and will soon quit any job they give her. She lost her house and now she lives with me and my boyfriend and has o income her uneployment ran out and her car insurence will soon be canceled. I can't support her for ever. I love her but would like her to get back on her feet. Any suggestions?

okay so im only going into the 8th grade. my mom and i recently moved so we hired some workers to help us relocate. so four guys came who looked fairly young early twenties and they were okay looking and nice. and then this one guy kept hitting on me. telling me i was cute and that i should go out with a guy like him. and i would constantly ignore him and leave him but he would like "go on a break" and come follow me. and it was creeping me out. he kept tryna talk to me and not help the other guys at all and like stroking my arm and stuff. and i just smiled awkwardly and moved away and just say as little as possible. it was embaressing and weird adn i hated every second. but with my personality i didnt know how to turn him down. and i couldnt be too blunt about it cause my mom would notice and like try to kick his *** right there. and even when i told him im only 13 he was like oo so your young and ripe nicee. what would you all do?? im afraid i might face more of this help me!!

my boyfriend is perfect, he is everything i want in a man and has never hurt me for the last couple of years we have been going out. He has never said anything about my wieght, and he thinks im obsessing about nothing...

a few days ago, we were at a mall there was this really hot girl, and i was looking at her (I work in advertising so im always checking out hot girls for model material) and i was like (to my BF) 'wow i wish i looked like that' and he was like ' are you crazy? then you will leave me for some other guy" :O

I mean thats the most chavantistic thing to say right? and it has all sorts of implications...he wants me to stay fat beacuse he is insecure etcc.. he has never hurt me in anyway before and up to now he is the most unchauvanistic man I know... and I would never give up the great thing we have going.. but is this cause for concern?

I did ask him to explain himself...but he was like 'I don't know why i said it and i wish i could take it back'.. HELP!

Hi everyone, any advice would be appreciated greatly.
I'm at a crossroads in my life. I recently graduated from college and have started working full time. I haven't quite mastered the art of dealing with those of my parents' generation and kindly request your help.

At work, I am perfectly comfortable with dealing with coworkers of all ages, because I feel that in that environment, we are all equals, and we are all professionals with work as common ground.

However, when I am in other social settings, such as in church, I feel awkward dealing with people from my parents' generation. This is because they are with their children, who are often just a few years younger than me. And I often get the impression that the parents expect me to be friends with their kids more than be friends with them.

I don't really know how to deal with this, so please let me know what I should do! Thanks!

I never hated my dad, but I'm starting to dislike him more and more. My mom and dad divorced when I was a kid, mainly because my dad treated my mom like crap. He is an old school Korean, so he treats women like they are lesser then him, and I hate it. He treats my mom like crap, and shows an immense amount of favortism for me over my sister. I hate how he does this, and I keep telling him to treat my mom and sister better. He never changes, and he's dead rich and doesn't spend his money for anyone else but for me and my sister (mainly me). Because of this I always reject anything he offers me, ever since I was a kid I had this mentality. In my mom's side of the family, my aunt is dying and their family is really poor. My cousin can't go to college because she has no car, and my younger cousin gets 4.0's and probably won't have enough money for a good college. My dad will not give them any money whatsoever. What can I do to change his views, I'm starting to hate him more and more.

Alright, this may sound silly but owell. Sometimes, when we are asleep at night, my husband will try to have sex with me in his sleep. This happens A LOT!! I try to have sex with him like 2 times a week, he gets home late every night, an Im busy taking care of kids all day...I have 2...Im 21, so we're both very exhausted, an making sure that the house is clean, an all that. But I dont know, is this normal? He says that he will wake up and hes doing it. It makes me feel, sort of uncomftorble. Ive told him this. We dont know what to do. He says that he will just sleep on the couch, an I dont want that. I find it soo so difficult to sleep without him. Any advice for us??? Its posing a problem...

i was married and my wife was wonderful in the beginning, then she was telling me how abusive her mother was. i believed her because....when life started getting a little stressful she full on started abusing me. i kicked her out once and told her to watch her mouth. she came back crying and told me it was how she was raised and she didn't want to repeat the cycle for her daughter's sake. about six months later, she got close to her abusive mother again and guess what happened...she started abusing the crap out of me and then telling me nothing is wrong with her after admitting it early on. from there on it went down hill rapidly. the abuse escalated until now a nasty divorce where she is accusing me of abuse. i believed she loved me to death at one point but discarded me after believing her disfuntional family. is there any hope for abusive people like her? i guess after thirty years it's hard for her to change even though in the beginning she wanted to.

I showed a picture of a wedding dress I liked in a magazine and website to my fiance and he didn't like it. Last week, I had the opportunity 2 go shopping 4 a dress & i saw the dress. Everybody in the store & my friend said it was the nicest dress I tried on & I discussed it with my fiance who at the time said that he trusted the opinions of the people I was with so I ended up putting 50% down on it. Last night my fiance saw a photo of me in the dress & ended up admitting that he thought the dress was horrible & couldn't understand why I would have got it when he had already said 2 me that he didn't like it & it didn't suit the style of wedding we were having (originally it was a casual wedding & I picked a formal dress). I got really upset & he's tried 2 backtrack on what he said as he feels awful, but I want 2 cancel the order. Do bridal stores offer refunds? If not, what do I do? I don't want 2 wear this dress anymore as I want 2 wow him in my dress & I know I won't in this one

i made friends with a guy from school on myspace. we started talking on the phone, and now its become a habit. my boyfriend originally told me not to talk to him on the phone, but i was angry with him because it felt like he was telling me not to have friends. the other guy is really nice, and i am not attracted to him in any way other than a friend. i dont want to stop being friends with him, but i also dont want my boyfriend to get angry with me. weve been together 3 years! is he wrong to be angry, or should i be able to make the decision on my own?

My huby earn about US $6,000 per month.

He do not like maid neither 3rd party in the house so im the maid & almost every night i got to be his mesus or making love.

Which is very tiring!!!

I got a degree & i could earn better if im working.

He just give me US$500 per mth include the groceries & we went holiday only 2 x per YEAR!!!

i am just asking for another trip this year. Then he was angry.

Is it wrong to not want sex after an argument with your significant other? It's hard for me to get in the mood with someone I was just arguing with.
