The only way my husband will confront his moods is through marriage counseling but it is important to find out from a doctor if I'm on the mark about my husband. He has extreme mood swings, is often angry, and talks about death, and is indifferent to the family.

I met this guy and we instantly connected. We spent about a week together and would just sit and talk for hours. We live in different provinces, but he has called me every night since we met and we still talk for hours. He is always telling me how amazing I am and how much he cares about me.I am going to visit him in 2 weeks, and hes coming to visit me in 3 weeks after that. He said he told his parents and friends about me and they cant wait to meet me. He also said he feels like a lucky man to have met me. He genuinely seems like he wants to know all about me and is very interested in my life and making me happy. We've talked about the distance thing and he brought up the idea of him transferring schools in January to be closer to me.Last night he said (kinda jokingly) im trying to figure out how to tell my roomate and friends im moving.I am falling for this guy and feel like we have something really great. Do you think he feels the same way? I do, I just want to get an outside opinon!

I asked this question before but nothing has worked, ok heres my dad in full detail. He has been smoking weed every single day since he was 17 years old hes now 55. This is a fact. A day will not pass this man doesn't smoke weed 1-2 times a day. He runs a business hes at his job all day. My mother and I do not like to take him anywhere, because he is very very obnoxious. Ever since i was a kid all hes ever done is YELL and every sentence is a curse word. Its like he has turrets syndrome. Hes always angry. Heres an example, yesterday i decided to go somewhere with my dad. On the way to my aunts house we got into a conversation about cars, from there it turned into a battle as always. He started cursing me out while the windows were down. We are in Manhattan, so you have people from all over looking at the car, looking at me. And i wanted to die! My mom and i both agree that he does this thing where he makes sure everyone is looking then he blows up on you so he has an audience. HELP ME!

I have been in a relationship for the past 2 and 1/2 years. He is a great guy, my only complaint is that the passion has fizzled a bit and he is predictable. However, there is someone else who has been in my life for 7 years. He has been my close friend and we used to be a little more than friends, but we never could work it out to be together. I have always had strong feelings for him which is why we remained friends after I started my new relationship. I couldn't wait around anymore. I haven't cheated at all and don't intend to. The problem is, I find myself thinking of the other guy lately. I have dreams about him. Then, strangely, the other day he confesses that he wants me to be with him. I should not even be considering this because of my current relationship. I care for them both I guess. I don't want to be a bad person or screw my life up. But there has to be something wrong if I can't get it off my mind. Advice? Please be kind, I have had it rough lately!

I met this guy and there was a very strong mutual connection between us. Since we met, hes called me everyday and we talk for hours. He tells me all the time that he thinks i am amazing and how much he cares about me. The only problem is, we live in different provinces. He also said hes seriously considering transferring schools to be close to me. His friends are starting to give him a hard time because instead of going out all the time with them,he'll stay home and talk to me or he'll cut the night short with them to call me. He says he doesnt care what anybody says cause they dont understand how he feels about me.Everythings been going really great, except last night he didnt call me until 1:30am, after he got home from a bar and his call woke me up and I got kinda mad that he called me so late. He said that really bothered him that I got mad at that b/c he called me as soon as he got home and hes trying to accommodate me and his friends. What do u thinks about this entire situation??

If two people (a male and a female) were raised on a desert island by a mom and weren't taught how to have sex, would they still know? Is there some sort of trigger in the brain that lets guys and girls know how things work down there or do they HAVE to be taught? I mean I didn't even know I had a hole down there until I stumbled upon a porno. Other than that and sex ed class, I probably wouldn't know a d*mn thing about sex. I was just wondering if a human who wasn't taught would still know how to have sex. Would the guy even know a girl had a hole down there? Would the girl know (assuming she doesn't masterbate and there are girls that don't because 'I' don't). What do y'all think?

I met this guy that I like a lot. I'm 22 and he's 33.We have fun and get along great. But he makes jokes about me being so young, like when I was 22 you were 11. And his friends make jokes too. They really like me, but it bothers me. I told him how I feel , and he says he understands. A lot of the time I do feel young, because some of the stuff he talks about and things like music and shows his friends grew up on; I don't know what they are talking about. Does anyone have any suggestions?

we have been dating for 2 months, and as we are 2 hours away, we only spent weekends together. but as he is white, im asian, we have a bit communication problems, so we dont talk on the phone much on weekdays(he said thats the reason he didnt call me much on weekdays).
yesterday when we met up again, he talked about me moving in to his place, as Im a phd student, and he is working, he said its easier for me to change school, he said he likes me and wants to see how this goes, he said that way our relationship can move forward instead of staying still, if we just see each other on weekends, the relationshipo wont change. but he also said thats a bit risky for me, bcos he can't guarantee this can finally succeed.
what bothers me is i dont know how serious he is about the relationship, bcos he brought it up so suddenly, i think he merely likes me, why does he want me to move in with him?

I know that people get emotional about things and in many cases it's justified. However, what I don't understand is why women seem to use their feelings/emotions as a weapon in relationships.

It seems that in order to solicit sympathy and win arguments women will summons tears when they are in a confrontation and especially when they are going through a break up.

Therefore, why is it just expected that women get their feelings hurt and have a right to cry when they are stressed/emotional but if a guy does the same thing he is seen as a weak-a%& male and emotionally unstable.

It seems that too many women use this double-standard to their advantage in order to get their way. Especially in romantic relationships and with their husbands. Come on ladies please tell me why you use tears as weapons instead of just talking through your problems.

1. How long have you been married?
2. Have either of you cheated on the other?
3. Do you have kids?
4. Why did you get married?
5. Is this your first marriage?
6. If you aren't happy, why do you stay that way?

This isn't meant to come across as an assault on marriage, although to some it might come across that way. The whole point of this question is I wonder about marriage. I just found out yet another friend is getting divorced. I'm 26 years old and I've always dreamed of getting married, having a family, yada yada yada. What I'm wondering is though is what is the point? I've had so many friends get married, and out of all of the ones that have been married over 5 years, only one couple seems really happy, the rest seem so miserable and I think the only reason they don't get a divorce is that it's against their beliefs, and although it's not my place to judge that, I can't help but wonder what the point of marriage is if people who stay together end up miserable.

i'll ask this guy that i like to go hang out. he'll say he can but then won't call/text back until way later giving me an excuse. we were supposed to do something last night but he calls me 4 hours after he said he would saying sorry he didn't get back to me but he'll try to make it over to my place today. and here we are, today, and he hasn't showed. i'm guessing he's gonna call tonight saying something came up. i've been trying to give him his space (because his ex said she wanted to get together again) but this is ridiculous. what should i say to him when he calls?

my in-laws house grosses me out. One of the reasons is because their dogs mess on the kitchen floor. My father-in-law always says he is going to let them out before he goes to bed and then doesn't. The one week that they were outta town and my husband I were watching their house. I swept and moped that house every day and let them out before I went to bed and I NEVER HAD ONE MESS to clean up.

Is there anything that I can do? Whether is be saying something not so blunt to my in-laws about the dogs or even getting over this nasty feeling about their house.

I mean seriously, I go up there every other weekend to visit and by the time it is time to come home, I cry because I feel so disgusting.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Well, ever since about May, I haven't had my period. I've never had sex. I have gained a little weight. played sports (exercise) ever since about 2 yrs. ago. So, I really don't exercise on my own since then, but I don't think that's the reason. I told my mom about it & she said she didn't have hers for a year, but I'm still a little scared about it all. I have been stressed though, because all summer we've been in the process of moving from out in the middle of nowhere (which I loved) to town. Another reason I thought of was about over a year & a half maybe ago I had to go to the ER w/ severe pain & they said I had 2 ovarian cysts (Cat SCAN). I ended up going to the Gyn. a month or so later & she did a test (not PAP test) & said I'm fine. If there's more problems I'd get this test (something like a pregnancy test where they can see the baby)... Since I don't use tampons. Now (a year later) once in a while a get pain from the cysts, nothin bad. But I haven't had my period for 4 months!
