Parents get frustrated sometimes. That means they feel they have no other way to show that than to use physical and verbal abuse. It's defiantly not the right thing to do, but they do it. In my opinion, I feel that if they have that many issues, than they should put the kid up for adoption. At least the child would be happier.

Some parents need anger management. Others like a step parents and adoptive parents could do it just because the child is not theirs biologically. Some foster parents only adopt for the money they get from the state, to support the child, and treat the child like crap. Never understood it myself too much either. You might just have to ask the sick parents that question.

I agree.
But abuse is a cycle.
You might want to read up on Sociology, Marriage & The Family and Psychology courses. Some adults were abused so its easy to abuse without even thinking. Its a learned activity. Some feel to a IMMEDIATE response you should hit. Its quicker and easier than to talk about it, reason, learn, change behavior and to build a character, decision making and so forth.

there are some people in this world that should never have children without working out their inner demons. to many times it is simply a vicious cycle. grandpa hiy dad, dad hits kids, kids hit their kids.etc... my husband was abused as a child by his father, he hated it so much that he promised himself he would never be an abuser. he is 6'3 and the gentlest man in the world.his siblings did not fare very well. most of them are still abusing their families and drugs/alcohol. it is something that needs to stop. for the sake of our future.

i totally agree... at my school we did research about child abuse and the reason why parents abuse their children is because they just wanna put their anger on their children or the parents were once abused and they just wanna let that past let go... i know... makes no sense but that's what my teacher says

Its not abuse. Its called discipline. Theres a difference between abusing and discipline. Of course the parents love their own children, but if the child is raised without proper moral or discipline, they tend to grow up with no self-respect.
It depends on how you look at it though, but discipline is discipline, not abuse.

Everyone wants the world to be this perfect place. But unfortunately we have to take the good with the bad. Theres always gonna be some rebellious situations. Thats just life. All I can say is, as long as you personally live your life the right way. Hopefully that can rub off on the negatives. But you can't make anyone change overnight.

its because they are not happy with in themselves , they like to go beyond the means of control and do harm instead. Parents who abuse are sadly never punished accordingly, and it is always teh child....who has to pay for it for the rest of their lives!

I agree it must stop and it will if enough people let it be known that it is happeneing. I think that a lot of it is based upon their own upbringing, sometime mental problems and other times just being plain evil spirited.
