The only way my husband will confront his moods is through marriage counseling but it is important to find out from a doctor if I'm on the mark about my husband. He has extreme mood swings, is often angry, and talks about death, and is indifferent to the family.

Its 125/hour and I personally think their not the way to go. Get clerical counseling---a marriage encounter at a local church. Catholics have them for a week or less. Its an open denomination thing for all. Alot less money and its a start back on the road to being more sensitive to your marriage partner.
