24 HRS THEN WE HAD SEX AND NEVER LOOKED BACK . WE BEEN MARRIED FOR 28 YEARS NOW AND STILL IN LOVE AND STILL LIKE TO HAVE SEX AND GO OUT TOGETHER AND HAVE FUN.WE ARE BEST FRIENDS AND LOVERS. WE HAVE A 26 YEAR OLD SON WHO MOVED OUT SO WE NOW HAVE THE HOUSE TO OURSELVES. WHO SAID MARRIAGE IS BORING IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT.

We dated for about 6 weeks before we had sex.
We have been married now for almost 10 years!!
It does depend on your age though, a woman of 24 may only wait a week but a woman of 17 may not feel ready for several weeks/months or at all!
I would suggest to just take your time and go very very slowly, if he puts pressure on you and does not understand your feelings then maybe he's not the "one" anyway.

My spouse? I knew him for a couple of years as "friends" (while I was dating someone else), but he and I were going out for probably four months or so before we had sex. I was 22.
My first boyfriend and I dated for over a year before we had sex (I was 17).
I agree that many people have sex too early in their relationship, then don't understand "why it doesn't work out" - you have to know the person and like them OUTSIDE of the bedroom, too...

The first time I meet him he would not talk to me. That was on Sunday. Ran in to him at the same bar on the following Thursday, followed him home to have something to eat. He went upstairs to have a shower, I jumped in with him. Spent that night and we have NOT spent one night apart .Dated for six months , Jan 30 will be married 9 years , and two boys .
