i made friends with a guy from school on myspace. we started talking on the phone, and now its become a habit. my boyfriend originally told me not to talk to him on the phone, but i was angry with him because it felt like he was telling me not to have friends. the other guy is really nice, and i am not attracted to him in any way other than a friend. i dont want to stop being friends with him, but i also dont want my boyfriend to get angry with me. weve been together 3 years! is he wrong to be angry, or should i be able to make the decision on my own?
please help!

you should be able to talk to who you want. I'm sure your bf does. friends are great to have the more the merrier

Well I think it was wrong for you to start talking to him on the phone since your bf didn't want you to. You should have respected his feelings but too he should have more confidence in himself and more trust in you. three years is a long time and I'm sure you don't want to loose your man over this. Just let your bf know you love him and that you're not attracted to this other guy and that you don't have feelings for no other man. Let him know that there is no need for him to worry because that's all he is doing right now. He is afraid you will get to close to this other guy and fall for him. Looks aren't every thing! Keep that in mind and understand his side as well You'll get through this.

Well how would you like it if he was talking to a girl behind your back? you are acting like the victum but if it was the other way around you would be fealing pretty shitty. If you wanna keep your b/f's trust I say stop talking to the other guy now. if he means nothing to you this should be easy

Just tell your boyfriend that you only have feeling for him, he is only made because he thinks you like ur friend, just give your boyfriend some reasureance.
