Road dog is street thug slang for best friend, buddy, the person you spend your time with, the one who has your back.
The guy is showing he has low class; that's how they talk in prison. And if my girl asks me a question like that I'm going to respond in a way that is not ambiguous or slangy.

It means he's a low-life sack of crap and has no respect for women.
BTW, using that Birddog handle is not showing much self respect for that matter.
Calling a person dog, is next thing to calling them a son of a b-i-t-c-h, or b-i-t-c-h in my opinion. I won't tolerate it.

he was being sarcastic but being honest, its like when white people make fun of ebonics talk & call each other homey, theyre referring to theyre friend, but its kind of a joke too.
