I have to take this college course for 5 days in one week. I'm transferring to a different college as a junior this coming semester! I'm so excited! I got accepted already but apparently my GPA was not "good enough" to get in my major. I had a 3.2 GPA thus far which to me seems "decent" but I guess not good enough. I went to Arizona State but I wanted to try somewhere different so this year I'm going to Boston College!!!

It's a totally different place and in order to be accepted in the fall I am required to take a 5 day evaluation course in which I take tests and a class to see if I am able to get into my major or something of the sort!

I'm VERY NERVOUS!
I'm a smart person but I do not take test well
that's why my GPA is "not the best"

Please offer me some advice and tips!
The last thing I need is to be stuck without a college for a semester! HELP

I have taken back both of my children from my wife after we have been seperated for 6 months. During this time, she has met someone without us having any divorce paperwork, she was the one that left in the first place. Her reason was she could not take any more of the "problems" that we were having. I took my children back because she was just drinking and her "relationship "was not at all healthy. The guy just had his only problems to handle but they both don't realize that. I have told my "wife" that I would like for us to be a family again. I know she has an alcohol problem and she needs to do alot of soul searching for herself. I feel I need to do this because I don't want my children to see all that ugly stuff about alcohol. We have been married for 16 years and I just recently realized about Chemical Dependency and beginning to read more about it.I really do love her a lot and willing to look past all the nastiness we had in our marriage, but the root problem has to be uncovered.

I started an investment banking job a month ago and now have to work late every night--at least until 9pm and often much later, and have had to go to the office every weekend. My girlfriend seems really fed up with my new routine, and fed up with my talk about work. It's hardly ideal, but what am I supposed to do? She's not exactly career-minded herself. If we're going to have a future, someone needs to make some money. How can this relationship work?

Well me and my b/f let my sister and her husband move in with us only b/c their van broke down and her husband's job was walking distance well he worked there for 2 days and then walked out on them they was stuck with us for like 1 1/2 months well now they moved and now they left us with some bills and barely any food i asked her was they going to give us any money and she said they needed their money well they dont pay that much rent and her husband is working again so i dont see why they cant help us out we made that mistake last year with my brother he did the same thing to us so you think we would have learned bye now but im to soft hearted i would help anyone that needs help. so help me if you can with this problem. been together for 7yrs. i have 3 kids & he has 2 from our previous marriages. i found out 3yrs ago he has a child he wants nothing to do with & nobody knows about. she is 6yrs. he was 30yrs and she was 18yrs. this makes me ill. still i'm with him. he has physically abused me since we've been together. (broken hand, bruised kidneys, etc.)& never in front of kids i never reported it, too ashamed. he's always so sorry after. this where i get confused, abuse is getting a little farther apart. he doesn't belittle me, or call me bad names like i hear in other stories. he tells me how much he loves me & how beautiful i am all the time but he lies constantly & hurts me & recently made me have an abortion, i'm a wreck over it. every1 in town, his family & friends think he's a great, charming, fun guy but they don't know the real him. they tell me i'm so lucky. my friends & family see the real him. he's mean to them too. i don't know y i stay? y is it so hard 2 leave him? shouldn't i leave?

My husband has been wanting me to go to see a dr and get my yearly done to check for ovarian cancer our insurance pays 100% of the visit but I just dont feel comfortable w/ drs looking @ me. My first visit was when I was 20 and when I was 22 only b/c I was pregnant If not for that i wouldnt of ever went. And when I had it done both times I was so uncomfortable and was shaking I hated it. What are my chances? Know of anyone who was diagnosed @ 27 years of age?

I've been friends with this girl since I was very young. Recently the things she has been doing have given me the impression that she may be bisexual. I decided to sit her down and have a face to face talk with her about it. We are both mature adults and I figured we'd be able to talk about it as mature adults.

I asked her if we could talk and her first response was "What you think I'm a lesbian or something? I replied "No but if you were please understand I would have no problem with it and would not treat you any differently if you were bisexual or lesbian."

She then went on to scream at me "WHO TOLD YOU I WAS BISEXUAL!?" I said Nobody but our friends & I were a bit concerned with the way she was acting and all of us were wondering if she was OK.

She then went on to say and I quote
"Go F*ck yourself and tell your A**hole friends to F*ck themselves too along with you!"

then kicked me out of her house and slammed the door!

Did I do something wrong?

is it because of the hatred for the ex, what your best friend might think of you if things do work out even after all the things you told your best friend about your ex or is it just that your best friend cant have what was once yours. why cant your best friend just say if you can make it work with my ex than more power to you. what kills me about bestfriends is they can do almost anything to anyone else, you forgive them and still remain best friends. but if you tell your best friend how you feel about his ex, why if this is your best friend who is supposed to be with you through good times and bad can't execept that your best friend has feelings for the same person at one time you loved, married and had children with. most of the guys i'd expect most women to think are hot are in their teens and early 20s. but most women say that they are more into guys in their late 20s and 30s.

do i have the wrong idea of what types of looks women find sexy? i mean, would you say you find more hot guys between 16-20 or between 25-30? i'm talking about initial attraction, not long term.

I think the trans on my car is gone, my uncle said he'd look at the car but he is very busy.I go to college and need a car to get to class so my mom is letting me use her truck and staying at my house and watching my son.However she is very agrumentitive with me and I REALLY hate dealing with her.Last time I had my uncle fix my car it took a month.Should I just take it to a shop or have my unlce fix it?
I will be paying for it either way.

Following on from previous questions, my problem is still ongoing. I have been seein my fella on and off for five months. We got on brilliantly to start with, he couldn't get enough of me. We met thru friends. I had troubles with my ex harassing me, which i stupidly lied about to save trouble, this resulted in him dumping me. we got back together and I found evidence that he'd been seeing his ex! He swore he hadn't, I didn't believe him and this led to a violent row. We didn't speak for three weeks after this, until I popped over to his to pick my stuff up. I still love him very much, and although I only meant to stay five minutes, I ended up staying 11 hours before leaving of my own choice ( he wanted me to stay the night). He says he loves me and I love him and he swears blind he didn't sleep with his ex although i have strong reason to believe he did. Please don't bother writing abuse, what would you suggest I do?

I"ve been dating many girls which aren't all a specific type. I have yet to find a girl that is "perfect" for me. Each girl would have a missing trait/personality that i would yearn for. For example, I would go out with a girl whos has a lot in common with me but is fat. Then i would go out with a girl who is very very hot; but is ditsy in the most stereotypical way. I'm currently going out with this girl who my #1 girl. She kinda scares me becase I see a LOT of myself in me. What she doesn't have which I would really like is musical talent and a great look.

Selfish and shallow aren't I?
But its not like i haven't dated an ugly girl before.

I know u are upset at me & mom. I just want u to know our feelings on the matter. It's important for Scott to be at my wedding b/c the day is about family,& I want him to be there. We will be taking pictures & celebrating, & it will feel like someone is missing if he isn't there. I realize that he may not know who is supervisor is going to be in Sept, but there must be a central location where he can request a weekend off, or he could ask his present supervisor. I also feel that instead of him coming home for thanksgiving – he could come home for my wedding - I invited his parents to the wedding so he can spend time with them. I just feel that if roles were reversed, Scott would want u at his brother's wedding. I can't understand how there is no one that he can talk to to get the time off. I don't want him to lose his job either, but I feel that he's not really making the effort. I am sorry if I am making u upset, I just don't want my wedding to be about Scott coming or not.

just to add and let you know, I didn't do anything to push her away. It was her mother. She was always telling her I was bad. I had a great realtionship with her until her mom took me back for well deserved child support modifiacation. Her mom put her in the middle of it and said many things to her that were untrue. I have been heart broken that she will not talk to me. She wanted to do whatever she wanted and she didn't feel she needed to come over here. Her mom told her friends were more important while going to school. Evey time I called, I just said hi, it is your dad. Just calling to see how you are. I never demanded anything from her. Just never dreamed that she would not talk to me. She is also from a very wealthy family and is due to inherit millions. I was a bit surprised by some of the assumptions in the responses to my origional post. I have done nothing but what my counselor told me to do and it has been her choice to not talk to me. I never did anything to push her away

I moved out when i was 17yrs old with my ex-boyfriend I got into drugs and at 20yrs old i ended up in rehab. My ex boyfriend got deported to honduras for selling drugs. The only reason I left my house is because my mother and I used to fight about my ex. Well he is out the picture now. I am now married to a wonderful hardworking man, My mother is going through finanical problems and wants us to move in to help her pay half the rent. I would benefit because I am having a new baby and it would really help me out a lot. I am just scared about arguing with her or my little sister she is 12 and argues with my kids non stop. I want to help my mom cuz she always been there for me, But i am scared of problems arguing. What should I do??

I found a response to a personal add, he put his age and he needs "serviced", workdays work best. first he said a computer virus made that email, then he said he thought i was cheating so he was looking for ads that i possibly wrote! he must think i am really dumb! i have caught him with naked pics of himself on his computer, he said it was a joke for me! lol okay, he must think i am dumb and denies anything that would hurt me. i cannot trust him anymore, i am torn because we have a one year old son. any advice? also, i am a very beautiful woman who does everything for him, and we seemed happy together. this is a total shock to me.....

My relationship w/ mom broke up 2 years ago. I, was immature, joined bad friends. I apologized, promised to change and meant it but she didn't trust me, I got a harsh punishment. I begged for her trust, she said I had to abide by the consequences of my mistake. It wasdevastating to hear this from my mom. I really loved her and her trust was important, for months I suffered a lot. Then I got over, found comfort and trust with people I joined in volunteering activities w/ children. Mom lost my love. This Sunday there was a small party at the school where I work w/ children, they like me and decided to please me with a simple but touching party just for me. They asked me to bring my parents but I didn't. It was wonderful, the best moment of my life. Mom got to know about the party and got kinda hurt cause I didn't invite her. Well, she didn't trust me when I needed her most, so why would I invite her to something so important to me but that has absolutely nothing to do w/ her?

Basically me and this boys are really close friends and before he told me he really liked me, but long story short another girl asked him out soon after and being a person who cant say no he said yes. This girl is really needy and very clingy, and never leaves him alone. So i hang with him and he phones and texts me alot, but latley we have been getting to close so i started blanking him a bit and hes become very moody because of it, but im onli trying to do the right thing, even though i like him.
