If you are a very committed Christian, and the person you want to be with is really a nominal/newly interested believer ... it is a very bad idea to be satisfied with that if God is incredibly integrally important to you? Does anyone have negative or positive experiences with that? Could you offer mature, realistic advice?

I have asked a question before and now i need some more advice. My fiancee and I have been engaged for 3 wks and I do have two wonderful kids by a previous marriage. I see my kids on a regular basis and I do extra things for them because they are my kids and my responsibility. I believe that this makes me a better person for the things I do for my kids. She gets a little jealous when it comes to them because she doesn't have kids and seems not to understand. I have explained several times that she is not competing for attention and that I love her with all my heart but there are sometimes that my kids do come first and that she shouldn't feel jealous. Should I talk to her again about this or is this going to be and all the time thing and maybe i should break the engagement off now, so that it doesn't hurt and be more painful for everyone later.

It has been 16 months since I found out my now ex was having an affair. In that time I have changed jobs, sold a house and bought a new one, getting used to the fact that I am basically a single mom, surviving on my own...My friends and family are constantly encouraging me to date but I am just not ready yet. Is this normal? I actually like being on my own right now. My ex went the other way - moved in almost immediately with the other woman. Should I start dating even though I feel I am not ready? I do not want to get into a rebound relationship. If you are divorced how long did you wait to date? For those who left their spouse for another and moved on immediately - did the relationship last?

Ok like i said before my husband and i have been happily married 16 yrs and wanna buy a porn movie and i said neither 1 of us has ever seen 1 before so we are curious to see 1..Well how many people have said "believe me he has seen 1"..Well does this count..1 time wayyy before he met me him and a couple of his friends went into 1 of those adult stores and you know they have those booths where you put coins in and watch 1..Does that count? There's this guy that has liked me a lot for quite sometime now. We would talk endlessly for hours online until two in the morning. The next day he'd bring up topic we'd talked about in school. At dances, he'd wander around me and join in on conversations I was having with other people, even interrupting if it was a conversation with another guy. His friends talked about how much he liked me and that he would save all the online conversations I had with him. He promised and continually asked me when we would hang out. I took a step forward to show him that I liked him (asking to hang out) but that was it. I never said anything else or did anything else at all. But then...he left for camp and from what it looks like on Facebook, he met this girl and they flirted at camp and on Facebook even after camp was over.

This guy and I were always friends, nothing before or after camp, during school or summer. And then today, I realized that he'd removed me from his friends on Facebook!

Money can change a person who way of thinking and at times loving. My fiance and myself are on a very strict buget because we have some unpaid wedding balances. The wedding is in two months and we are starting to have big problems. (money problems) he always gets upset when I say that we can't afford something. The question that I need to ask is "What do you do when you start feeling different toward your spouse because of money issuses, ( not having enough money to sometime do simple things like get somthing to eat) Sometimes I feel like I don't even want him near me ( in bed) because I feel like he dosen't deserve to have sex with me. Him not being able to buy things turns me off. Even now it seems like every arguement we have starts off with money. What should I do to save our relationship with in the next two months?

When i talked to him last night before he went to bed he was really quiet and didn't even say I love you before he got off..when i woke up this morning i started thinking about it and i didn't feel right about it..now what i did next I know isn't right and i shouldn't have done but..i looked though his messages on myspace and was shocked!...This is how it went down....

..that really hurts me that he would even reply to a message like that!...and the fact that he didn't say he had a gf..(and he tells me he loves me to death)..and he wants to hang out with her..& he has to know something will end up happening if they meet...I know I'm in the wrong for looking through his messages..but...I don't know what to do..should i confront him about it?

I am the first engaged person I know, of everyone I went to highschool & college with.

One of my bridesmaids is freaking out because I am getting married in June, but she hasn't had a date or serious relationship in over a year. We are 21 and busy nursing students--we don't have time to tie our shoes most days, but for some reason she is stressed out about starting a serious relationship "before it's too late".

I can't help but think my wedding has put the idea in her head that it's time to start looking for someone. I happened to find my fiancee very early in life, but normally I would never suggest looking for a relationship while you're a serious nursing student at a school that sucks up your whole life!

Has anyone been on either side of this dilemma? Do you think it's normal? How can I help her? What can I say to comfort her without seeming condescending and obnoxious?

Like for example, you fell in love with someone who you usually could only talk to through online, but of course she have a life out there and you're just her online friend. You see all her close friends and you wish you were one of them, who she sees and talks to every day.

I mean, how should one deals with it. You loves her so much and yet you're not even in her circle of friends. It's like, you don't stand a single chance with her being more of an online friend rather than a real life close friend who are all important people in her life.

ps: or am I just overanalytical about the situation?

my husband and i have been married for 20 years-we are 39 & 40. the last 2 years my husband has been taking antidepressants and our sex life has come to almost a complete halt.we have always had an amazing sex life and i really like sex .but the antidepressants have affected his sex drive,he has used pills that help,but we still only have sex every month or so. he almost acts like it is a big inconvience to him to even take the d*** pill. i feel like a sex freak sometimes because it seems like i am always asking and getting turned down.i dont think i could have an affair but i dont know what to do. i am only 39- is my sex life over? he has tried other antdepressants but they dont work ,he has to take them !!!!

I'm getting married TWICE. we are going to the justice of the peace in October not telling but a selected few, because we didnt save enough money yet for the big one, and we really wanted October as our wedding month. So the big one is in April white dress bridesmaids the whole bang.

My mom is making things impossible for me & my fiancé, Scott. My sister decided to change her wedding date to this Sept instead of Sept ’08. Scott is a Air Traffic Controller and has bid for is vacations. My mom wants him to take time away from seeing his family during Thanksgiving to come to the wedding instead. (we live in IL, they in CT) 1st, when he bids for vacation he is basically stuck and 2nd he should be able to go home for Thanksgiving. I told her the only thing he could do is ask if he could switch his two days off for that week, but they might not say yes. I also told her that he does not know who to ask right now since they are always switching supervisors, and he may be even done training by then, which will change everything. Also, we don't even know if how many of his co-workers asked off for that weekend. My mom has even called his mom about this situation. I just do not know what to do, please help!
