You can't teach a woman that. They either are willing to pay or not. So you need to find the type that does. You will only find out after you have gone out with her. Good luck.

You don't need to "teach" anything, just tell the women you date your expectations for paying - if you think you should split equally, pay for your own meal, pay for every other meal, or she should always pay everything. Then the ball is in her court, and she decides whether she sees your expectations as reasonable (I can almost guarantee she'll laugh at that last one though). When you find someone who agrees, you've got a date partner.

This guy wont get too many dates will he. He probably spend all his $$ down in the red light district and now wants a real 'lady' to pay his way. Cheep date skate!

Its all about being the player. If you are on a date and the total is under $20, Its up to the guy to pay. If she orders a lot and goes overboard on expenses well either she is going to rock your world or you say you will call her and never do....

Okay. This is my take on it, i don't care if a man wants me to pay for a date. I'm an independent woman, i have a job, and i can pay for myself. BUT....he shouldn't get all mad if i don't go on another date with him.

here's my problem wit it, It's just CHEAP for a guy not to pay for you. If he is asking you out, it's an only courtesy to pay for you when HE asked you out. It just shows that you CARE. It's not about the money it's about the principle of the thing.

idk my dad once told me when I started dating that i could always ask a guy out instead of waiting but with that comes planning the date and paying for the date......I take the control of the date. Sometimes thats allot of fun to watch a guy just sit back and be shocked that all they had to do was be ready at the time stated!

well it has always been the guys who pay for the bills, if you're on a date then you should pay for your date, if not, just say it before ordering

Wow. You can't "teach" a woman like you can a dog. I'm surprised you have a date with that outlook.
