Basically me and this boys are really close friends and before he told me he really liked me, but long story short another girl asked him out soon after and being a person who cant say no he said yes. This girl is really needy and very clingy, and never leaves him alone. So i hang with him and he phones and texts me alot, but latley we have been getting to close so i started blanking him a bit and hes become very moody because of it, but im onli trying to do the right thing, even though i like him. Whats the matter with him, people say that he still really likes me and confused about what he wants, and he always talks about me to his friends and always talks about his gf, but in a negatie way. What should i do, carry on ignoring him or just be really close again, and what does he want from me? People say hes just trying to get to me?

First, you need to tell him why you're not paying as much attention to him. Tell him that you feel that since he has a girlfriend he shouldn't be calling and texing you as much and if he does like you then he needs to break up with his girlfriend. You are doing the right thing though. He is the one who needs to make the right decision.

What is wrong with being friends? I take it you are young and the fact this girl is clingy I can tell you it won't last long. Being friends first is the best anyway. Why would you have it any other way. That is the purpose of dating to explore your options. And be upfront tell him you don't want to disrespect his girlfriend cause if that was you, you wouldn't like it. Imply that you are interested and see what happens!!

Just think in a positive way and your bf will be with you. Do not let negative thinking approach you. Let people whatever they say.

You should just continue being his good friend and then maybe after he and his gf break up then maybe if ur both interested in each other as more than friends contine getting closer.
