I don't believe in inviting yourself. It's rude and puts your aunt in a tough spot.
Sorry to say that I'd back off unless you get invited to stay longer. During the week, if you're having a great time, perhaps your aunt will mention staying longer, then you can pick up the thread.

The first thing you need to do is ask your Mother what she thinks of the idea. If she approves, then you very politely let your Aunt know that you are going to be close by and would like to visit with her during the week following the time your family has to leave for home.

just ask, i know how that is. but if they don't offer to let you stay then ask politely. the cousins i normally stay with is a guy and a girl. but the girl is in college and moved out but i still stay with just him...its tons of fun. hope you find the courage to ask.

you could call your aunt and let her know you'd really like to stay with her, if it's not an inconvenience.
the worst she can say is no...
take care and have a nice time

We tried to get my cousins to change their flight, that way they had to stay. But seriously, tell them you're having fun and that they should stay longer. Especially if you don't see them often. Life's too short.
