My two soon to be three year old is always asking me if she can have holes in her ears like mommy. She's very girly and loves purses and all sorts of jewelry and wants to wear earrings like me. We tried the clip-ons but they hurt if you wear them for a while. I'm more concerned with her messing with them or her sister pulling on them since she's 6 months old. She literally begs me for this and I always said that I wanted to let her say when she's ready, but I thought it would be 5years not 2.

Should I take her to meet the daycare people ahead of time, or wait until the day she starts going? Should I stay with her for a while in the daycare until she gets acclimated, and then leave? Please share your recommendations & experiences. Thanks!

i babysat a friends 2 year old the other day, and while changing her nappy (yes...nearly 3 n STILL in nappies) i noticed very strong red marks all over her bottom. she's a very naughty girl n i kno her mum does hit her, but im now wondering if she's doing it more than she really needs/should.
who should i report this to if i see more of the same? she's taken her daughter out of nursery, refuses to have a registard babysitter and never takes her daughter to the doctors. admittly the worse i've ever seen the kid have is a sniffle, but no check ups nothing.
should i report it to someone now? if so who? n if not, how long do i wait? it was actually hurting the kid to sit on her bottom on the floor!! please help i don't know what to do!

Has anyone seen water proof pants, outfits, overalls, coveralls, etc with built-in feet. Or even snap on booties, though I would prefer one pieces?

If not what do you do for a toddler (1 year old) who wants to walk in the park and won't walk in even semi-soft soled shoes/boots. Only cloth booties?

How warm are the robeeze winter boots, and are they waterproof or waterproofable. The way the seams are it looks like they would just wick water in.

Thanks

What are some items that I could use that are free/around the house to blow bubbles? I have a cup that you cut the bottom out of, and a hanger. What else?

My Toddler is 22 months old and has never really eaten a meal at a set time. She either isn't hungry or isn't bothered.I try to make sure she has had a balanced nutritional intake during the day e.g.(Milk,cereal,vegetables,fruit,carbs.)etc.but most days she ends up eating very little of anything.

I am at home with the kids today 4 mo and 4 yrs. It's a great sunny day.
Here are some ideas I had: I could drive 30 min to the beach (a bit of effort w/ the little one), the playground, play a game and go outside in the backyard, build an indoor fort, make a craft, bake cookies, watch a movie, go to the mall, fast food indoor playground or something else that is free.

What do you think? Do you have an creative ideas for preschoolers?

This morning my 4 year old daughter came into my room to wake me up. She was acting all cute and giving me kisses all over my face. Then she spit in my eye, thinking that was funny. I was angry and told her that was disgusting and she wasn't going to watch any TV today. She then put on a puppet show for me and our morning continued as usual. When we came downstairs, she went to turn on the TV as usual and I said "No TV" and shut it off. Of course she took a fit and was upset. Now I'm thinking, maybe she is too young to understand what she did? Is taking the TV away from her for the whole day a good punishment for a 4 year old or is this something reserved for an older child?

I've tried reacting to it, I've tried ignoring it, how do I get him to stop screaming?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??? PLEASE! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
