And your point is? My son is 28 months old,he was toliet trained at 22 months and he gets up to use the bathroom as needed and has not worn a diaper since day 1 of toliet training.Throw the diapers away, throw the sippy cup away. They subsitute a sippy cup for a bottle. You have to stop teaching her that she can stay up and carry on at such hours of the night after she uses the bathroom.Mine uses it.I never turn on any light in the house.Only night light is on in the bathroom then when he is done we give our good night kisses and hugs and tell each other we will see you in the morning. He gets in his twin size bed(not a crib) and goes back to sleep.I value my sleep as a mother of 6.I would never encourage bad sleeping habits from the start.

Cut out the nap! Cut it!

Stop the liquids 3 hours before bedtime, and get her a "big girl" bed. There's no reason for a child that age to be in a crib.

If you stop the nap, stop giving her liquid at a reasonable hour, and put her to bed around 8, I'd put money on her sleeping through the night.

Sorry, I just wanted to respond to that other user. Milk is not loaded with sugar. The sugars listed are complex carbohydrates that are not broken down well by our bodies. They won't harm anyone, not even diabetics.

You should switch your daughter to low-fat milk, for her health at least. Try to give her more food and juice. Don't let milk be a meal. It should be a morning and evening (or evening and bedtime) snack. My mother is Indian so she follows the British tradition of "tea time." Maybe you should have a little set "snack time" with your daughter. You could have some tea/coffee and she could have milk. Let her learn that there is a specific time to have milk. If she is thirsty any other time, offer her juice or water. Tell her you're saving the milk for your special tea time.

Don't let her drink anything before bed. Take her the bathroom right before bed also.

Cut short or cut out any afternoon naps, nothing to drink 45mins before bed time and go to the potty on the way to bed. Put her in a toddler bed, leave the bathroom light on and see if she'll go alone.

At almost 3, she should be in a bed and should be able to go to the bathroom on her own. Also, that amount of milk is horrible...milk is loaded with sugar..read the label.

Do NOT allow her any liquids 3 hours before bed time - then she won't be getting up in the middle of the night.
