They are using the toilet very well but only when they do a number 1. They both will not do a number 2 in the toilet. I have tried everything but please if anyone has some advice to help me.

i have had the exact same prob. I bought my boys their favorite underwear and told them that spiderman doesn't like being pooped on, when they did poop i said spiderman has to go away until you stop pooping on him! they soon stopped and wanted their spidey underwear back!

Hi there! My almost two year old daughter is doing the same thing. She goes pee-pee on the potty, but refuses to do number 2. It's the strangest thing!
My friend's daughter was the same way, and then one day, she just started using the potty for everything! The key is not to rush them...when they go in their diaper just say something like, "Where is poo-poo supossed to go?" My daughter says, "Potty." I then say, "It's okay you had an accident, just let me know next time you have to do poo-poo and we'll use the potty, okay?"
The key is to use positive, non-stressful means to make this transition as easy as possible for them. And remember, they WILL learn! There isn't an adult I know who hasn't been potty trained. ;-)

my daughter did the same thing what finally worked I never expected, anytime she would bathe I would tell her no pee pee or poo poo in the bath. so after about of month - 2 months of potty training and only going pee she needed to go #2 and practically threw herself on the potty to go, she did that twice after that we had no problems although she still wants treats when she goes #2 on the potty we have switched to stickers which she loves as well.

i used to put the potty next to the toilet, dont move it around the house. when they have done, let them see you pour(or tip!!) the contents down the toilet, flushing and carefully cleaning your hands. it only took me a week of this before my daughter caught on and slowly weened herself onto the toilet everytime.

two and half year old ???? kids can only control their little anal muscles with three years at earliest, as far as I remember - but please check with your pediatrician before stressing yourself and the boys out for nothing...My son was diaper free only with four and a half, because the new generation diapers contain gelatin power between the layers of cellulose so they don't feel wet anymore and they fit like shorties with elastic hems - some of which reasons why the kids don't bother to wear them up to a year longer than our generation did with itchy rushes etc ( good for the Pampers-industry, expensive for the parents)

My daughter is13mth old, one day she had a banana and got constipation(she was 11mth old at that time), she was just tryin to make herself free by pushing , suddenely i noticed and took her to the toilet and helped her by giving force on her tummy.From that day when ever she feels to go she came to me and make her face.So try to check what he do when he got the pressure,(face reading, action, or any sound)

Anytime they go in the pullup or diaper, take it to the toilet and dump it in, then have them flush it. Good luck! They will do it!
