If it helps to know you are not alone, my husband wet the bed untill he was 12. There is medication for that and it helped. You only have to take the meds for a while. Then you will not have to. My husband is an adult now obviously, but I can assure you he no longer wets the bed. I forget and he forgets how long he had to take it but it wasnt too long. Maybe six months. S O I dont know what you are afraid of. The doctor will only help. As far as not going to the doctor all you can do is limit your fluid intake, and pee before bed.

Try not drinking liquid 2-3 hours before bed, set your alarm for about 3 hours after your bedtime and get up and use the bathroom. Try that for a couple weeks, and soon your body will naturally wake you to tell you when you have to go.

Your bladder may have not caught up to the rest of your body. This is a really common problem. All the men in my family wet the bed until about age 15. Don't be embarrassed. It happens to the best of us.

I also know a 13 year old who wets the bed. She has been to Drs, doesnt drink anything past 6pm. Im sure you have tried everything but you may really have to go to the Dr honey. The only other thing I can tell you is set your clock every 3 hours and get up and go to the bathroom
Good luck, i know this is hard for someone your age

If you are 14 years old and still wetting the bed, you yourself know there is a problem.

Sometimes bed wetting is a sign of sexual abuse.

It could also be an internal physical problem.

In any case, it's not going to take care of itself. You need to see a doctor. It won't be as bad as you think and in fact, you will wonder why you waited so long when you can get a good night's sleep.

Get going and good luck!

Pee right before you go to bed and DONT drink any liquids three hours before you go to sleep. Copied from #1 resonse

Additionally, hold off as long as you can in the morning before going to the bathroom.

That was the adivse that a doctor gave me and it worked like a charm. I still make sure that I pee right before I go to bed even though it is no longer needed. Just habit.

maybe you already tried not drinking something before bed. but im pregnant and i can't stand waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, so i decided i was not going to drink anything about two hours before bed, i also went the bathroom before i went to bed and if i got thirsty before bed i'd have a popcicle. and that would hold me until i went to sleep. try this if you haven't already, it helped so i wouldn't need to go in the middle of the night and i could just sllep though without being disturbed. i hope it helps you.
