My child is 3 almost 4 years old and she is deathly afraid of bugs. Any type of bugs. Flies, ants, mosquitos even cute lady bugs. I am worried that she will have to spend the whole summer inside. She just shakes and cries fiercly when she comes in contact or even sees them.

I took him to the doctor, because he got so bad he was attacking me and everyone in his path. He wont eat, sleep, sometimes he soils himself. the doctor said it is a vast that he is going through and that he grow out off it, but my son is like this two and half years and it is only getting worse, i feel like i am going to lose it with him sometimes. I love all my children, but i spend most off my time with son, running around after him and making sure he is not hurting his sister he picks on her alot because she is the baby. Does anyone have a bit off advice on what to do please.

This problem raised it's head just the other day and I wondered what others experience with it was. I have an 18 yr. old stepdaughter at home who is still in school. She complained about there not being anything to eat. I had a look in the fridge and pantry and there were plenty of groceries. The real problem was that you would have to cook whatever it was. After quizzing her she had been eating fast food for over a week. When asked if she knew how to cook the real answer was no. What happened to the day when girls learned to cook from their mothers. Evidently this is a downward spiral because my wife really dosen't cook or at least dosen't care to
What has happened ? Is there a corporate fast food conspiracy here?

Any parents interest to send their toddler to art class in the neighbourhood location during the weekend so that parents can do some groceries shopping?
How many hours would you like your kids to spent and how much are you willing to pay?
If Christian related art class, would parents be comfortable?

My for son is 13 months old, he's been cruising for a while now and he will walk back and forth across our living room from my husband and me, and I know he can walk pretty good. Most of the time he cares nothing about walking, unless we urge him to walk back and forth between us, most of the time he crawls or hangs on to furniture and walks. What can I do to get him too give up crawling and start walking more. I work with him everyday on his walking.

My girls will be 2 and 3 next month. Up until a few months before Christmas, my oldest wore a 2T and my youngest wore size 18 months. Now with summer approaching, I decided to get them each a pair of new shorts to see what sizes they would need. My youngest can't wear anything bigger than size 12 months in shorts because she is so petite. I thought that was funny because she is so tall that size 2T pants are getting short on her. My oldest got a pair of shorts sized 4T and they were tight around her belly. I'm having a difficult time finding clothes for them. I already had to hem my oldest' pants over winter because she is short and chubby. My youngest has to wear belts with pants and those are hard to find for her. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do? Also, does anyone else wish they made kids clothes like they do for adults? I'm talking about the tall/short/petite/plus, etc. sizes,

My child just turned one. He has an ear infection in each ear, which we've been trying to treat (see my one other question), but lately he's been vomiting and having diarrhea, but does not act like he is sick. He isn't getting woozy, dizzy, or anything before or after he vomits, and he acts fine. The same goes for diarrhea. Anyone had this "problem" before? Could it be his reation to Zithromax?

I'm visiting my grandparents in Pensacola, FL. I'm from Saint Louis, MO. My child receives MC+ (Medicaid) from the state of Missouri. 3 weeks ago he went to the doctor over an ear infection and a cold. He was prescribed Amoxicillin with Clavulanate as well as Albuterol. His ear infection had not healed from amoxicillin, so he was put on Zithromax this past Thursday. On Friday, we were on our way to FL. That evening, he projectile vomited and seemed fine before and after. The following morning he had a diaper full of diarrhea. He was unable to keep anything down, including Pedialyte. On through Sat., he could not keep anything down, so I called the doctor. She took him off Zithromax and said to give him some sort of home made apple juice along with mild diet. He kept food down until this afternoon (36 hours later), and now will not hold anything in. Will I have to pay upfront and then be reimbursed by Medicaid if I take him to the hospital or will I be covered? He just turned one.

What size kid shirt should I buy? I am buying custom tshirts from a website so it is kid size, small, medium or large. I'm torn between the small and medium...just normal cotton t-shrits. Help me out moms :)

I do. After reapeatedly telling her that my husband and I don't want to get our 11 month old daughter's ears pierced for fear that she'll pull the earrings and cause an infection, she still tells the baby every so often "We need to get your ears pierced to make you look pretty", and I think to myself: "Excuse me... she's pretty already!" (¬.¬)
And she's always saying stuff like "She doesn't hold her bottle yet?", "She should be walking by now", "How come you don't feed her this or that?", etc....
I drives me insane!!
Is there NO end to this? What do I have to look forward to?.....
