your daughter is not old enough to potty train anyway
not till she's 2 and half should you worry bout that at all
try lightly but just enough to hurt smacking her bare leg when she kicks and tell her to stop and if she doesnt then put her in time out for 1 minute per year of age
if she gets out put her back till she's there an entire 2 minutes
she might not know she's hurting you
that worked wonders with my daughter who has just in the last few weeks started potty training

Father of 6 and stay at home dad. Pull trousers or tights down to ankles rip sides of pull ups and then hold trousers between ankles which are now like a pair of hand cuffs.
changing nappies one handed can be done and the feet can be moved up or down to suit. Good luck.

Two suggestions:
1) When you changer her lay her sideways so her feet aren't pointed towards you.
2) Buy pullups and if it is just pee change her standing up, she just needs a quick rinse. Poo diapers can either be changed normally (pullups open at the sides) or standing up in the tub, particularly if you have a hand held shower head.
In either case try distraction, buy some toys she only gets while being changed.
Shes really been through too much to start disciplining her for something that is relatively normal kid behaviour.

My son does the same. Sometimes distracting him with a toy helps but not for along and not all the time!
Just get it over and done with as soon as possible.
At 2 years I would be looking to start potty training.

Take the shoes off first thing, and just keep putting her legs back down. It is time to start thinking about potty training. Go to Charmin.com and they have a free kit, or they use to to help with potty training.

You need to discipline her. Do you watch Maury Povich, when the teens are on there beating up their moms. Well, this is where it starts. You need to nip it in the bud now!
Honestly, you NEED to start the potty training process, but the important thing here is to teach her it is NOT ok to kick someone, especially your mommy, when you don't get your way. It sounds like she is the one in control of this relationship, and it will only get worst.
You said suggest a form of discipline. I believe in spankings.

Distraction is your best weapon. TV, a book, sing a song (ie she makes the animal noises in old macdonald etc), pretend to be the "nappy fairy" who gives a chocolate/grape/raisans etc to any good girls that change their nappy nicely.
Have you tried those pull up ones? Really make out what a good clever girl she is wearing those ones.
Good luck!

I sing ABC's to JD when I change his diaper. Or I try to sing the little songs I sing to him but REALLY LOUD when he's pitching a fit. :o) I also tilt my head back and forth so my ponytail goes every which a way! He find it's hilarious! LOL GL! *www.happysahm.com*

Pop her on the butt and make her realize that she is hurting you. but most imporatantly you need to start potty training her. That may be her whole problem is that she wants to start using the potty. Buy pullups and see if that helps any but start potty training asap

It's called discipline. Grab her foot, hold it firm & tell her NOT TO KICK YOU in very strong terms. Do it every time she does it to you and she'll stop soon enough. She is testing you & you had better get a handle on it quick. She'll soon try something else & you'll have to take care of that too - it's the nature of children vs adults !! She has to learn to respect you & the rules of life even at this young age
