Please can anybody tell me how to wash nappy cream (like sudacrem) out of fabric. our tot has smeared some all over her clothes, the settee and a scatter cushion and it wont come out as its waterproof. HELP!

Put a big squrit of washing up liquid on it and rub it in till it gets foamy, leave for 10 mins then wash it. You could try putting talc on it too which will absorb all the grease. I've tried bothe and they seem to work.

I recall using dishwasher detergent and hot, hot water in a bucket to get something similar out of a little suit once.

if you soak it in worm water and a little washing up liquid before washing in the machine it should come out

Washing up liquid!... just put a lil on the clothes and rub it in before you wash them.... put a bit on your sofa aswell and rub it in and wipe it off....worked on mine :-)
