In my researsh into death patterns. I have noted that many girls who have seven letters in their first name followed by Ann as the middle name do not live past the age of twenty five in this country, Also I would like to know the date of birth and death. There is a corelation between these days relating to a death. I would like to know if this pattern has occured in other countries. Thanks Teema

The television show American Idol is hit phenomenon where some average American becomes a superstar. I have noticed from the past seasons that a lot of contestants who do not make it past the judges (Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson) during auditions, and therefore get angry because they believe that they are a superstar.
My question is, as a Current or Future Parent, would you allow your child or children to try out for the television show American Idol knowing that they could become a success or be told off about their musical singing for all of America (and the world) to laugh at?

I'm looking for answers from people who have experienced this first hand.

We are taking our 21 month old son to Walt Disney World in a week. We know this is really a vacation for "us" but we want him to have a good time as well. We plan on being much slower paced, and resting a lot with plenty of downtime for him.

I'd love to know of attractions or places in any of the parks that were huge hits with your toddlers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

She just turned 18. She has picked up smoking, thinks it is a secret so far. I'm devastated, as my father died of lung cancer 6 years ago...and I was the one making the medical decisions. I don't want to have to do that eventually for her too. I'm so concerned about her health.

When my little boy was born he was circumcised in the hospital the day before we left to go home. I guess he either had more than usual amounts of foreskin or it just healed back. His pediatrician says it is up to us if we would like to have it redone or not, but I am worried because my son is much older now (14 months ) I don't know how he will react to it and I am not sure if I want to. His father is adamant on wanting to have it redone. I am at a loss for what I should do any opinions or advice on this????

Lets say a couple has two children.

One is male.. let's call him Masonn, unplanned, very healthy.. he is now grown and married and has two children and an amazing job. He has a lot of friends, is very successful in life.. and generally, very happy.

One is female, planned, very sick, lets call her Kaelynn, she is now grown, dropped out of college and temporarily unemployed. She was once told that she would never be able to hold down a job because of her illnesses and never be able to have any children. She has a handful of friends, and has depression problems. She was once told she has less than 10 years to live.

The father used to verbally abuse his son as a teenager, and now physically abuses/verbally abuses his daughter. It is more severe with the daughter.

The mother always tried to stick up for the son, but ignores her daughter's problems.

What could be the issue(s) here? Tough love?

on the school holidays my husbands niece comes to sleep and play with our youngest daughter.
i usually have to go out to work during the day so as he works from home he is here to look after the girls. but when i return the girls have had nothing to eat. (he feeds himself) he says it is not his responsiblity and i disagree. he puts the blame on my daughter and says it is her responsibility. but i know that when word gets back to his side of the family they will all blame me as not looking after the neice. i have told hubby how i feel and all he says is "who cares what they think and that he will continue to do the same'. my brother in law is a single dad (week on week off) and is not approachable to tell him. i threatened to tell him that in future he needs to leave food for her. but hubby arranges things without my knowledge. what can i do?

My 7 year old is perfectly potty trained, but lately has started doing the nastiest thing EVER. Whenever I discipline him (no dessert for lying to me, for example), he says "FINE! Whatever!" and then, later, I'll find tied up Safeway bags all over the living room with something in them. I pick them up, and I kid you not, he TOOK A SHlT and PlSSED in those bags and tied them up, & tossed them in the living room for me to find. He's been doing this for a while! I consulted a psychologist AND his doctor about this, and they just said he was testing me. He still has his normal bathroom habits. He only does this when I discipline him. What would you do if your seven year old was DELIBERATELY doing this? When I asked him why he does this, he says "Because you're an asshoIe when you take away my video games or my dessert." ( <-- Lovely language courtesy of his K-8th grade school.) I cannot deal with this, I asked him to express his dissatisfaction with me in other ways. He's not a dog.

I am currently trying to hold my ex wife in contempt of court for not allowing me to have my kids on my visitation days. The parenting plan is thurs 6pm to sat 6pm every other week. Today, as a procedure, i went over there to ask if i can have the kids and she let me have them until 7pm tonight but is coming to pick them up and she made me sign a piece of paper saying i would not take them to my house during those hours. The reason she doesnt want them at my house is because she is accusing my stepson of molesting my son, which never happened. Anyways, the paper had the date on it and i made sure she wrote it applys to today only, and that i would stay at my mothers until 7pm when she would pick them up. Now wouldnt i still have grounds to hold her in contempt being that i didnt have them my visitation and not just one hour?

OK Tuesday night freshman girls and boys had a basketball game. The school we was going to was two hours away. On the way back I and Devan, and Patrica, Shawna, and Tommy was making Prank calls on the bus. I know cheesy right. Anywayz We called one of my friends that wasn't on the bus. We made Devan sound like a perverted man. He asked her what kinda Panties she had on. lol Guys it a joke ok. Anywayz before we can tell her we was joking, we had a dropped call. So I let them uses my phone to call her back because I was the only one with bars. Her dad picked up and Devan chickend out. So he gave me the phone and I asked for Chell. Her parents trust me so they gave her the phone. Told her that it was a joke and she knew it was. Anyway I got off the phone with her a little while later my mom called. She sounded mad and she asked me if I let anybody use my phone I told yes I let Devan and she wanted to talk to the boys coach. Hod on....

I've heard a few times that in order to have a great marriage that you should always put your husband before your children. Now I want everyone's opinion about this. Please let me know who you put first and how your marriage is. As far as I go, I put my daughter before my husband all the time and as for our marriage, well it could be better. My husband hardly spends time with us. So please give me your opinions! Thank You!

First they tell us our babies can fly out of practically any carseat we get. So since i'm pregnant the first thing i did was check the carseat we used for our daughter and will be using again. Then i was thinking well if the test the company did on them was wrong with all those other ones, how do we know the tests done on mine aren't wrong...pregnancy makes me worry about everything. But now, they are saying all those tests were wrong, that the speeds were way higher than they said and that they have to do them all over again. I just wanted to know if anyone else was as irritated with this as i am.
