I'm looking for answers from people who have experienced this first hand.

We are taking our 21 month old son to Walt Disney World in a week. We know this is really a vacation for "us" but we want him to have a good time as well. We plan on being much slower paced, and resting a lot with plenty of downtime for him.

I'd love to know of attractions or places in any of the parks that were huge hits with your toddlers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

We went when my daughter was 18 mths and here is a list of rides/attractions for toddlers:

Magic Kingdom:
It's a small world
Cinderella Golden Carousel
Fantasyland Play Area
Mickey and Minnie's Country House (a cute playhouse that's suppose to be mickey and minnie's house)
Tomorrowland® Transit Authority
Walt Disney World® Railroad
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Don't forget Cinderella's Castle!

Epcot:
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Kidcot Fun Stops
The Living Seas (aquariums)

MGM:
"Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" Movie Set Adventure
Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! (if your child can sit quietly for little bit)
Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour (there was a bit of loud noises in the beginning (might be scary) but she loved tour ride afterwards)

Animal Kingdom:
Wildlife Express Train
Affection Section (kids can touch and pet farm animals)
The Boneyard®
If your son likes to look at animals like in a zoo:
# Discovery Island™ Trails
# Habitat Habit!
# Maharajah Jungle Trek®
# Pangani Forest Exploration Trail®
# The Oasis Exhibits

Don't try to do too much at one time! I made sure we left the park whenever my daughter got tired and needed a nap. Have fun!

We took our grandson when he was about 20 months old. He loved the jungle cruise and the railroad. They let him ride the Indy Raceway in tomorrowland with an adult. He also liked the Dumbo ride, the Aladdin flying carpets, and the Winnie the Pooh ride. He had more fun at the Disney/MGM studios. He visited with JoJo and saw the Playhouse Disney show. He also enjoyed the backlot tour and the 3-D movie.

Have fun and just take it at his pace and what he will tolerate.

it is not a rely of in spite of if he will submit to in ideas it or not - you will submit to in ideas it. We took each of our 3 infants whilst they have been around 12-18 months previous and that they and we enjoyed it. you ought to settle for which you won't be able to verify each thing once you excursion the parks with a fifteen month previous, besides the undeniable fact that it fairly is properly worth it to be there and revel in staring at them relish each thing. Plus, it would not value something for admission for them! as long as you do not push it too stressful and bypass at a %. that they are able to deal with (we consistently took the afternoon off and went returned to our lodge to allow them to take a snooze) it fairly is fairly not a topic. We in no way experienced the breakdowns that all and sundry complains approximately. We consistently parent we can come back yet over returned so we don't get too under pressure mutually as we are there approximately not seeing each thing.
