Depends on very on your culture and tradition. If Indian and from India (as an example) you dont have affairs at all. Your parner is chosen for you or introduced to your by your parents. With Western boys it is totally different. At what age do you ask? I say at late as possible. 18 is not a bad age. Before that they are still immature and less responsible. But with some boys they mature quickly so you have to observe your child and act accordingly but certainly not before 16. So what I am saying is that it depends on a few factors and there is certasinly no magic age I can recommend. Common sense and good judgement should come into play like in most things in life. Hope this helps.

(early.) I'm a teenager and i go to your average high school where 70% of the girls are sexually active and the other 30% are split between girls who "do anything but sex" or have never had a boyfreind or even there first kiss. Usually the sterotype is that is the "dirty" girls are the ones "doing it" therefore you think its not your kid. Everyone I hangout with is pretty well off. I'm on the soccer team and everyone on it is your average jock all around student yet everyone messes around and the majority go and get trashed on the weekends. The standard for "messing around" doesnt just begin in highschool. This summer i worked as a camp counselor and looked after a group of 13, 12-13 yr old girls. They all had stories to tell. The ones who hadnt been kissed felt left out by the girls who had all these stories of giving head, jerking off some boy and making out in there parents bedroom. I made one girl run 5 laps around the cafeteria for demonstrating how to give head by using a ketchup bottle,to an elven yr old freind of hers from another cabin. Point being, your kids gunna know about it as soon as they enter jr.high from that point on it depends on the kid whether or not they start having "affairs" with boys. Since your a parent I would recomend for you never to "expect" your kids to do that with boys because that gives them an " oh okay now that ur blank old its fine". You should let them know the facts build a relationship so they feel comfortable to talk to you about it and institute morals that they for themselves want to follow.

Well I am a teenager....and I am waiting until marrige.. If I was yoou I would encourage that, but in the end it is their choice because there is nothing you can do to stop it. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and make better choices than they did....but I think that the all around age is probably 15 16, that is what i would think but i wouldnt know

I know some girls who have lost their virginity at 11, yes 11, and some at 30. It will all depend on the person. Here are some signs that your son/ daughter is really quiet, doesn't even talk about math quizzes, rarely is home, obviously, is on the phone, a lot more than normally, developed a new group of friends, etc. The best way to find out is to talk to her/ him, I know it may be hard, but you have to try.

It depends on from which part of world you are. If you are from India there is no word "affair" to a teenager we opt for a word friendship.Affair in India starts only when you are matured enough and earn yourselves.Even then most parents still believe in love after marriage theory which works very well in India surprisingly

It depends on the teenager, but I'd start watching them as soon as they turn 12! I lost my virginity a=on my 13th bday and was boy crazy way before that. And my little cousin just turned 13 and shes been boy crazy for about 2 years so I keep a close eye on her!

Well I'm fifteen and I have a seventeen year old sister. I have chose not to engage in any sexual types of things with boys yet, my sister has, also she did when she was around my age. It depends on the teenager, you can't exactly set the year the activites will begin because of the wide range.

This depends a lot on how you raise them as well as on their personality and personal decisions. I was raised to view sex as sacred and best between husband and wife. I was a virgin on my wedding day and so was my husband. We were 23 and 21. If you're talking about dating, this also depends a lot on how they've been raised, what is common in your area and among their friends, etc. Most kids start getting crushes on the opposite sex around eleven and become seriously interested around sixteen. This is also the time that many teenagers start dating.

Well, this honestly depends on your children. Everyone is different. I personally was 15 1/2 when I lost my virginity, but I have friends that did so before age 13. It depends on the person, their self-esteem, how they were brought up and most importantly how open their parents are with them about sexuality.
