The adult-children thing sounded kind contradicting, but i know what you mean.

I am 28 years old and i live with my mom ... she helps me and I help her.

It only becomes anoying if the parent tries to treat you like a child and when the son or daughter become lazy and depend at all times on there mom. basicly, If there is respect going on both then it will all work out just find.

No way. Adults do not enjoy living with their parents anymore than senior citizens enjoy living with their adult children. By the way I just discovered another oxymoron, "adult child".

Yes they do and now many of my friends are happy to see their kids back from college. Most of my friends' children live with their parents. I have been told that their relationship bond better than before. For myself I will be delight if my adult children are living with me. I do not mind cooking cleaning and helping them saving to buy their first homes. Meanwhile, they are welcome to my home anytime and no condition what so ever. I will do what it takes to make them having the best time of their lives again. I am glad you ask and I am sure every parent will be joy if they have children at home again.

If they are taking advantage of their parents living there rent free and running up their bills and if they are lazy and don't work and don't help out around the house then no they don't like it. If the adult children are paying rent and work then i don't see their being a problem.

Depends on if you are just living with the parents and not working, or if you are helping with expenses by being gainfully employed or going to school to further your education. If you are living there as a deadbeat, then the answer is no. My mother and I have found ourselves living together again after losing our husbands. She is retired, and I work full time. I pay 3/4 of the expenses for our household. We are companions and take trips together and have mutual friends. So our situation works for us.

Like every thing some do and some do not. I looked forward to reestablishing my relationship with my husband after the kids left. Some of them did come home for short periods. it was always temp. And after they had children it would have been imposs. I would have mothered the grands. and that would have irrit. their mom. Best to put some space between

Do adult children enjoy living with their parents? I guess it depends on your culture. Asian culture are more accepting ot this kind of living.

not all parent, but some want to raise their children and get it over with,so that they can move on with the part of their lives that they had to put on hold due to having children.
if you do live with your parents don't take advantage of the situation, help out with the bills, rent, food and what ever else need to be taken care of.

Most emphatically NO! My parents were glad to see me go & took steps to insure I didn't come back.....LOL
But seriously, I agree with their view point that adults need their "space". Maybe if you had a large mansion compound arrangement it would be O.K.
Everybody would have their nose in each others business too much.
