This is a warning for everyone out there. My brother died at 21. He died from an overdose from an over the counter drug called coricidin!! This is a very bad drug. I have been doing some research on it. This drug is VERY addicting, recently I found out that even teenagers have started using this drug recreationally to get high. It has resulted in things such as comas, " zombie- like" behavior (believe it or not) bleeding eye balls and death among many other things. Parents please watch what your children are taking and everyone I am begging you please please do not take coricidin even for a simple cold. There have been reports of very bad reactions even for first time use!!!!

I'm 33, the baby's father is 46. I left him while I was pregnant, just because I didn't feel it was a healthy relationship. He called me throughtout the whole pregnancy to check on me, went to the hospital when the baby was born, held the baby, and even took pictures of the baby, it came time to sign the birth certificate, and all of a sudden he's not sure he's the father. I waited a couple of months called him gave him an ultamatum about being in the baby's life and he says he wants to be in their life, but only calls to see how I am doing, and to tell me about his life. And when he does finally call it takes a month. He has another child from a previous relationship, calls that child several times a week, so I guess I just want some opinions, is my baby better off with out this man being their father? Or am I being closed minded?

just look around there are parents all over that have no clue how to be good PARENTS. they let there kids walk all over them, they want to be there kids friends, and then wonder why they have no control over them. Really how many of your friends do you control? and if you do control them are they really your friend? NO! so stop cring about how your children are acting out, and that they wont listen to you. Some children do have disorders that cause them to act out but for the most part they have learned the behavior, so stand up be the adult and make them unlearn it! there is a movment that i think more people should be a part of called the human extinction movment, quit breeding, get sterilized, adopt, and take child development classes.

My daughter is 6 and has been very responsible going to the neighbors and playing out front and riding her bike on the cresent only. She now want to go the playground across the street when I'm doing housework. I thought it would be ok if I walk her across the street and she takes walkie- talkies and ask me to come and help her back across to come home...

Our son, Jason will be 3 in Aug. He fights us all the time when we need to change his diper. We are trying to potty train him, but all he does is sit there he doesn't pee or poop at all.
I am teaching him to sit first. And I don't belive in treats when it comes to training him. I didn't get treats when I got potty trained why should my kids get treats. Any ideas on what I should do!

My daughter is six and is on summer vacation. I work second shift which is working out great for her because she gets to play from the time she wakes up to almost three in the afternoon. Then she comes to work with me. But the problem is every day about an hour before I leave for work one of the teen girls that lives in our apartment takes the other kids swimming. I do not know this teen girl and do not even know her age though I would put her at 13-15. I am very protective of my daughter and she has to play where I can see her but all these other kids around here that are her age are all over the place whether their parents can see them or not. This teen often hangs out with them watching over them. My daughter wants so badly to go swimming with these kids but there just isnt time when they go. Today she asked me if the teen could babysit her. Now I work until midnight but I do have someone else that could pick her up after a few hours. However I have NEVER left her with a babysitter.

He's a bit too old to be doing such a thing. The problem is that his stupid parents, especially his mother spoil him rotten.
