All women lose hair after they have a baby. i know it sounds odd but it's true. Normally you shed so much hair a day, but when you are pregnant you don't, that is why your hair looks so thick and healthy. But afterwords, your hormones are trying to go back to normal and the daily shedding begins again, only now there is more to shed. (kinda like it's trying to play catch up) I used to pull out almost a handful every morning in the shower until my son was about 7 months old.
The rash is probably from the adhesive on the patch.

GET OFF THE PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Research has shown that ortho evra patches can cause heart attacks, increased pulses, among other things! I was on it for about 2 months, and my gyno called me, switched me off of it, and will no longer prescribe it to ANY patients. I would stop taking it immediatly and call your Gyno, switch over to pills or shots

Call your doctor.. but in the meantime you can go to webmd.com and type in the name of the pill and see what the side effects are...it will give a total description on everything about the pill

Sounds like an allergy to the adhesive. I get the same thing from some brands of bandaids.
