Does anyone know if you can use food stamps to buy baby formula in the state of Pennsylvania? I don't have babies, nor do i need formula, but a friend of mine was wondering if it were at all possible.

I had a Munchkin bottle warmer and it sucked! It took forever to warm the bottle esp. in the middle of the night while my husband's trying to sleep.... therefore I returned it. Now I'm back to boiling water and having the bottle sit in it, only I prep the bottle 15-30mins before the baby is suppose to eat. This is esp exhausting during the middle of the night when it's the only time I can get the max amount of sleep.

Is it okay to use the microwave to heat the bottle for the baby?

I don't normally use the microwave, I only do when I overslept and the baby demands it. Also, I use Dr. Brown bottles..... please help.

I was a father almost 3 years. My son Jeremy was thought to be shake by mother at four month old , which working at time as CNA.I was Mom and dad to him and alway pick him first he was adopted. My heart is alway broken and never get better.
I read seven years later about possible shot reaction may be possible cause to shaken baby. I not guilt and no ever was charged.
I still don't think Jeremy was shot reaction Because being limp with mother Before shot at four month 24-48 hour Before first cat scan which time frame. There are bad thing in shot like alumunim which cause Brain damage. It would take alot different reaction from shots at same time to do this to child. There to many different possible reaction to explain on here. Have anyone else heard anything about link shaken baby can cause by either shake or shot reaction?

My brother and I were gonna have our babies around the same time his little Aaliyah was born Sept 14, 2006 my little boy David on Sept 19th Our little Aaliyah died Oct. 24th of SIDS. Hardest thing I have ever been thru and still is. My fear now for my son is more than ever three weeks after Aaliyah died he got sick and they put him on a Apnea machine they just took him off and tonight is his first night with out it. For three weeks I maybe sleep 1-2 hours at night cause of fear but then when I got this machine it told me if he was ok or not. I was able to sleep but It was still beeping saying he wasn't breathing or low heart rate still today when I had to take it back I told the dr this he said he feels safe taking him off it. What can I do from parent to parent to calm my fears the thought of sleep to me is a nightmare and I worked a night shift tonight and the whole way home I was freaking out I came home and held him for a while I just cried. Please help on how I can feel safe.

my baby will be 4 months next week. i have been breastfeeding her since birth. lately i have been noticing that she was still hungry after she feeds and yesterday i decided to give her formula. first i gave her a bottle of breastmilk which i defrosted cause she had a bit of blocked nose and i thought that she couldn't drink well from me, she drank 120ml of breastmilk. then she seemed to be hungry still i prepared her formula which she drank 80 ml from. she seemed very content, and i felt happy that at least she was satisfied. she breastfeed again before sleeping and during the night. but i keep reading that breast milk is the best and should be given up to 6 months the least. does anyone know when breast milk is at its best - i mean once i read that the antibodies are mostly found in the first 6 weeks of breastfeeding.

My 5 month baby has become extremely fussy at night. We give her her normal last feed after her bath at 7.30pm and she falls asleep during the feed. We keep her upright for 30 mins and she doesn't always burp. Usually 30 mins after this, she wakes up crying and throws up. She is really unsettled all night and will not even sleep in her cot. She ends up in the bed with us. The other problem is she will not keep down any medicines as they all make her sick. She is fine all day and this only happens at night. She is definately teething, but could this also be Acid Reflux or Colic and what can we do to make it easier?

I am ttc. I was molested as a child and I hate any manipulation of my nipples. It makes me feel ill and angry. How will this translate into trying to breastfeed? Will my maternal insticts override a deeprooted aversion?

She cries, groans, moans, and sighs as soon as we lay her in the crib. But if we pick her up, she'll knock right out! Is there anything we can do?

We wake him every morning at 7:30 am. Then he's in daycare until 5 pm. We put him to bed around 10:30 pm. And he sleeps through the night. But sometimes he's very sleepy when he comes from daycare, so we want to give the daycare a schedule to follow, but we don't know what to suggest.

my 4 month olf baby fell sick on the weekend and threw up 5 times because i fed him rice cereal for the first time and it didnt suit him. he became so fragile and went limp. i gave him pedialyte. he was better since morning but threw up in the evening one time.
i feel so heart broken looking at him as he has lost considerable amount of weight and his face looks smaller.
i was wondering if he does not throw up again, how soon will he regain his health?
thanks for your response

MY BABY WENT GAH! MY BABY DROOLED!

how.. uninteresting.

I appreciate your world now revolves around your child. BUT only your world does, no one elses.

They never understand how amazingly uninteresting 99.99% of a infants actions are.

So, who do you have as more boring?
