Ugg! DOn NOT PULL THE SKIN BACK! It's bad enought you chopped off half your baby's penis, you don't need to torture him further. If it readheres just let it resolve itself as if it wasn't mutilated by an ignorant butcher who can't even tell if it's healed. how much research did you do that you don't even know how to tell this?

Usually the pedatriction checks it at the 4 week appt, and will tell you. There usually healed almost completely by then if not soon after. Youll know its almost done when the yellowish scab appears, it looks like an infection but its just scab so dont freak!

I found my sons to be healed after 2 wks. The discharge dissipates and swelling goes down. Just be religious with pulling the skin back and using vaseline until the doctor says otherwise to prevent adhesions and skin bridges. You'll want to continue with pulling the skin back and cleaning under it, if the doctor left a bit of extra skin, even after it looks healed due to the fact that the skin can adhere to itself later on as well.

it wont be red anymore, also it wont be leaking stuff like that yellowish stuff. you could just keep putting vasaline on it until. you see the dr next and let him examine it.
