My baby is 12 weeks. Is it too soon to start rice cereal? I've had people tell me they started at 3 months and their baby was much happier b/c it was sleeping longer at night and seemed rested. Has anyone else started rice cereal yet?

My mother in law recently gave my 7 mnth son soda water without asking me first. I was quite annoyed as other than his milk feeds I only ever give him water.

My daughter is almost 5 months old and is still waking in the night for food. She's on 2 solids and one bottle a day, along with breastmilk. She has been through the night twice recently but won't do it now. We've tried letting her cry, comforting her, giving her water to put her off waking; it seems like we've tried everything but nothing will work.

I just found out that my baby is going to be another girl. My first daughters name is Tabitha Mae. What should the 2nd one be? We really like Marie or Maria as the middle name, so something that goes with either of those.

Umm, my little four month old girl, does at times put her hand to her ear( the right one) but doesn't seem to be in any pain- well as far as I can tell, she seems normal, she does get a redness in there (just on the outside of the hole) is this related to teething or do they get red when it flaps over sometimes.

My daughter is seven months old now and I have another due in June, so they will be 11 months apart. I know its going to be very hard when the new bubs is born and Im thinking about when my 1st is a yr old to put her in pre school, I have enquired about a few, however, I get this feeling over me of not wanting to leave her there because I'm so use to being round her and I'm going to be worried about her, also I dont want to seem like I'm pushin her out the way for the new baby. any advice?

I have tried lots and lots of baby food. baby rusk in milk, purees, cereals... absol. nothin works!

He was 3.6kg at birth n now wieghts 7.7kg.

I work nights and my husband works days so we spend equal time with our 8 month old. Is there any technique to make my son want to be with his dad as much as he wants me. As soon as he sees me he starts to cry if his dad is holding or playing with him. It really hurts my hubbbies feelings.

My daugher is 11 month old and she LOVES watching her Sesame Street videos. She gets upset if we turn it off. Is it ok for them to watch TV that young? She could watch it for hours if I let her. I usually only let her watch it once (30m), but her nanny leaves them on for her all day.

My 11mo daughter stands in her crib when she starts crying. We are doing the ferber method (I know some ppl will respond disagreeing with my choice to do this... I welcome your dissent, but be aware my mind is 99% certain its the right choice). Should I lay her down when I come in to comfort her, or just rub her back while she stands?
