My son has a hair in his eye, and it's not a really short one, I've tried to get it out but haven't succeeded (he's way too squirmy) if I leave it alone can it do damage? Someone told me that it may get wrapped around things behind his eye and cause damage, is this true? What should I do?

Whats better buying baby food in the jars, or making your own? How long can homemade food stay in the freezer for? Is it just a simple blending of the food once its cooked or is there any special thing you have to do? My little one has a month to go before she can start eating veggies and I want to give her the best. Can you use frozen veggies to mash down or is fresh better?

When she wakes up we try giving her a bottle, she usually falls back to sleep right after. We have tried just comforting her, but as soon as we walk out of the room she start screaming again. Last night she cried for 30 mins before I gave up and got a bottle for her. HELP

The doctor recently diagnosed that I have a baby growing inside me. I really don't know much about these things. Am I supposed to shove food into my womb to feed it? Is it safe for them to eat dry cat food or should I start out with milk?

I posted this question 2 hrs ago but didn't get any responses so I am posting it again. My daughter is 5 months old and when i put her in her crib and turn off the lights and leave the room she cries and cries. I go back in turn on the little lamp on the dresser and leave the room she falls right to sleep. Everyone told me she just wanted me in the room but if I turn on the light and leave she is fine. I was just wondering if anyone else has had anything like this? Thanks in advance

i know that we spoiled him by bringing him to bed with us. but, it only started because we would fall asleep ourselves sometimes while trying to put him to sleep. this was when he was a NB. then, he started sleeping just fine on his own, except he liked to sleep in the car seat. that's not so uncommon. when he didn't like the car seat anymore, he still did fine on his own. then he would wake when my husband was getting ready for work. so, i figured it was only an hour & a half until he needed to be up, i would bring him to bed with me. then it started to be sooner & sooner that he wanted to come to bed. mainly because of all the hoilday vacations we took in the past few months. he would sleep with us at the hotel, because it would be very cramped with a dog, a playpen & luggage. we didn't stay at the hotel but a day on the way there, & a day on the way back. but this was for all of the trips. (4) now, he will go to bed at about 6:30/7 o'clock, but wake up between 11 & 2 to be w/ us.

Hi everyone,
I have a wonderful baby boy who is just a really great baby- only cries when he needs something, smiles often, ect... Anyways, he was sleeping 9 + hours a night on only breastmilk at 3 months, then he got an ear infection. During this time, he woke every hour and I nursed or rocked him to comfort him. When he was better 10 days later, he continued the waking every few hours. I understood, since when he was sick I rushed right in. He is still waking up every few hours. He sleeps from 9-1 (this is great!) then wakes every 1/2 hour to hour until the morning. He cries with his eyes closed, until he has cried for a few minutes with no one coming in, then he opens them & cries loudly. I've never let him cry for more than about 3 minutes though. :( I have tried a pacifier, ect.. but he just wants to nurse to go to sleep. What do I do? This can't be healthy for him to not sleep. (or me) Thanks! Oh- I tried rice cereal- but he got an upset belly! Should I try again

My baby girl is 5 months old now and I feel like a really big idiot lol! We have been having problems getting her to sleep at night so I was talking with my grandmother and asked her for some suggestions and she said to try Classical because it worked wonders with me. I know that Baby Einstein does classical music but I am wondering who else does children's classical music. So i went out and bought a children's classical cd for her and tried last night and with in minutes she was sleeping. I would really like some suggestions on who else to try for classical music for her please.
