ok so my son is colicy we got that part here is the other part he cries every night if mommy isn't holding him. Does anyone else have this problem? My husband can't even hold him because all he will do is scream. Tonight I had to work and my mom and my husband watched him and he cried for the both of them for 4 hours. When I am home at night he does a normal colic cry which is getting better no longer from 6pm-11pm now it is only from 9-11pm but it is an of and on cry for me but anyone else it is a straight cry and nothing but standing and pacing the floor with him works. Anyone have any ideas to help dad watch him while I am gone? Thanks please only serious answers.

My brother has been throwing up alot lately and I am worried cause first of all , I dont know what is the mater with him and second of all I am afaird that it may mess up the enamel of his teeth cause we learned in a class that when you throw up acid in your stomach or something ruins the enamel. Is that the same for babies?

i had my nipples pierced a year ago.
i dont have any kids and i am not pregnant, but when the time comes, will i be able to breast feed?
will the milk come out properly?
i know i would have to take my rings out for hygiene and safety reasons, so will the holes close up in time.
i have heard that some women who had their nipples pierced can often let too much milk out of their nipple because there are more holes in it and that the baby might choke on all the milk... is this true?

What are the chances one breast will quit producing milk?

My son favors my left breast and is doing so more and more. He will fuss and cry at my right breast sometimes and then immediatly take the left one when offered!

When pumping today (for the 1st time) I was able to get almost 3 oz from my left breast and only a few drops from my right.

I know my right breast makes milk, cause I've seen milk in his mouth while nursing on the right, heard him swallowing but maybe it doesn't make as much?

Is this a problem?
Should I nurse him on that side exculsivly for a day or two and pump on the left? Would that help?

I've searched that breastfeeding site laleche or whatever and couldnot find anything.

My parents adopted me 13 yrs ago and are trying to adopt again. They'd be happy with one but still I kinda want them to adopt twins triplets or so on.If anyone on here is having more than 1 baby and wants to go through an open adoption email me wvcountrygirl_1993@yahoo.com
THey're going to adopt through an open adoption (no agency just lawyers and parents) if they can find a birthmother. And no adopting without an agency is NOT ILLEGAL. I was just curious on what the odds of finding a birthmother having more than 1 baby and wants to put them up for adoption. They would even take two of the three if that is what the birthparents want. And please no answers like its sweet what your doing but you have to go through an agency bla bla bla.I know what im talking about. Thinks

Eveyone thinks he should be eating solids which I am trying to do everyday. I have made chicken cutlets, turkey mash potatoes pasta, etc... I mash all up, so it is pureed. My son is spitting the food out like he is having a hard time with it. When I feed him the stage 3 jar foods, he devours the whole jar and a jar of vegatables. He is in the 70 percentile for weight, so I assume he is getting enough food between the jar foods and milk. Every few days I try and introduce solid food to him in hopes he will eventually begin to eat it. So many people are like, "I can't believe he is not eating real food." He just started to get his teeth at 11 months, so I am wondering if this would be the case. I am just concerned that he is not developing like a 1 year old should be since I feel like the only mom who's baby will not eats solids at the age of 1. Any suggestions of what I can do to get him to eat the solids?

Hi,

I have a son. His name if Fadil. He is 21 months young.

He main problem is: Fadil doesn't respond to any visuals. He can listen to the sound but doesn't know how to interpret them.
We checked with eye specialist and he said anatomically everything is fine.

Now we are seeing a child neurologist. We did MIR and other boold test. Everything seems fine. Now he is geeting some vitmamins to speed up the development.

At this stage, all he can do is roll his body. He doesn't want to sit. He can sit for some time but we got to hold him.

He is undergoing physio therapy and sensory intergration therapy but the results are slow.

Does unfortunately has come across any case like Fadil( my son)? What would you advise?

I did his medical checkup in one of the best hospitals in singapore and they couldn't comeup with any diagonisis.

I appreciate any advise.

Firdous

Baby has slept in our arms since birth because otherwise he screamed and wouldn't sleep. We tried 2 bassinets and now a crib with no luck. For 5 nights now, baby has been put gently in his crib and begins screaming right away. After 3 hours of checking on him every 10 minutes (tried 30 but that seemed too much) we relented and he comes to bed with us. Cosleeping is a problem because we are all light sleepers and baby is cutting off the circulation in my arm since he won't sleep between us just on us. Plus he will nurse every 2 hours in bed despite getting solid food during the day and lots of breastmilk. The constant nursing also causes constant peeing and constant sheet changing. I can't get baby to be asleep enough to get into the crib, he wakes up the minute he touches the mattress. I've tried swaddling, white noise, mobile, and none helped. Is he too young for this? Does he have separation anxiety? Help - mom and baby are crying big tears tonight.

She was taken to the hospital yesterday because her water broke at 26 weeks. Her baby is only estimated to weigh only 1.8 lbs as of today. Her cervix is not at all dialated and she has had no labor pains. Anyone else gone through this?

Hello, my baby has recently been eating 4 to sometimes 5 ounces every 3-4 hours. I've tried giving him a pacifier to see if he takes interest, but he always just spits it out. He NEVER spits up, unless I put pressure on his tummy (i.e. lie him on his tummy over my shoulder, etc.) And he always gulps down his formula, but I still use stage 1 nipples. (He only bottle-feeds.) Thanks, and happy new year!

She does it as a joke. Her baby is 10 months old (i think). The dog just had pups3 weeks ago, she puts the pups elsewhere and puts the baby down at the moms boobs. It latches on and suckles. Is this normal? Is it harmful for the baby?
