In nine days it is my sons first birthday. Is it ok if I buy an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen or do I need to make a plain white cake for him and the guests to have? Please help

My 2nd child is 6 months old now, and since last night has been cranky cranky cranky. She barely slept last night, and isn't eating well (bottle). I dont feel any teeth coming in although for a few months now she loves to chew, drool and have her gums rubbed. weird thing is that her eyes are watery and now have a little bit of green stuff showing up. she felt a little warm last night, but not warm enough to harrass her with a thermometer. is she just teething? that wouldnt explain her eyes would it?

How long after you give birth until you start your period again when exclusively breastfeeding? My son is 9 1/2 weeks and I havent had it yet. I know everyone is different but I can find an average from your answers. Thanks:)

My boyfriend is being cold, rude and mean. Everytime the baby cries and I ask him to help he ignores me. We've slept together a little bit and he complains it's not fun. I ask a simple question like "How are you." And he'll be like. "WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME SO MANY QUESTIONS?!?" I say I have to put the baby to sleep. Instead of having sex and he get's mad. He refuses to wash his hands fo put sanitizer on them before touching her so I refuse to let him touch her. He get's all mad. He still wants sex and when we do he complains it isn't fun. HELP!!
I am a stressed 13 year old losing my mind!! Oh and for the people wondering about hand-washing Danity is only a newborn and I do not want her catching anything.

My son turned 3 months old this week. WE have been working with him on sitting up. He can stay sitting up for about 1-2 minutes by himself then he flails his arms or something and falls over. Does this mean he isn't ready to learn yet or does he just need more practice?

My 2 month old does not sleep good at night, she will sleep 2 hours and wake up and be hunger, I am so tried, I just want to be able to sleep a little bit more then I do, my doctor told me that she has to stay on milk till she is 6 months. But I have heard that it will hurt them if you put a little bit in there milk before they go to bed and get there belly full.

I prop his head up at night with a vaporizor, and do everything i can to get him better but no luck. He has a horrid cough a runny nose and he wheezes when hes sleeping..HELP!

My daughter is about 5.5 months, 24 weeks and is fed expressed breast milk and from the breast. Lately, as in the past few weeks, her intake ramped up dramatically. She used to take 5-6oz bottles of milk, 6-7 times per day. Now she is taking in 6 1/2-71/2 oz at a time, 5-6 times per day. Today she drank an 8 oz bottle, after eating 2.5 hours before. I think she's at 37 -39 oz per day of milk. Which leads me to ask, is this a sign that solids should be introduced? She doesn't have the "tongue thrust" anymore, but she cannot sit unassisted yet. I was going to wait until 6 months, but the increased milk consumption is leading me to believe that she might need a little more. Also, is her picking up a cup, and putting it to her mouth mean that I should introduce the sippy cup? (I'm a first time mom, so I don't know, and they did things differently in the 70s when I was a baby so I can't really ask my mom). Thanks.

My son is 14 months old. He has his two bottom teeth, and that's it. Two days ago his two top teeth (not the very front ones, but the ones NEXT to the two front) are starting to poke through. But there are no signs of his top front ones coming through at all. Isn't that odd?? Someone said they had to have their childs gums cut to help it along. Have you had to do this??? Is it painful for them? Oh, it makes me cringe thinking about it. He doesnt see his doctor for two weeks. Thanks for anyones help

Hi all; a continuation to my earlier question on the subject. I have discovered that during menstration the amount of breastmilk decreases so I half expected more feedings and thought I may have to supplement as I am not producing 5 - 6 oz per feeding. My baby has always been a hungry hippo and is about 20lbs. He woke up at 12:30am after his last feed and wanted to play instead of sleeping and then woke again at 6:30am. Maybe hormone changes affect taste but he's not rejecting the breast just completely changing up his day/night pattern. Any thoughts?

All I can seem to find in this size and larger is polyester fleece, but I want thick cotton blanket sleeper type pajamas. (the one piece kind with attached feet) I'm looking for a thick cotton material, kind of like sweatpants.

I am at 8 months now and feeling like I am ready to be done. My supply is going down, and my son seems less interested. He will take formula and a bottle. I wanted to go to 1 year, but right now seems like we are both ready. What do you think? What was your experience?
