From experience, I use Nestle Good Start Soy. It's smooth and easy on his tummy. Also, sign up for coupons at the verygoodstart website cause they send you good coupons for formula.
I used others, but my son didn't take well to them, specially the powder kind.

I used Good Start because my daughter had digestion problems and it is easier on the stomach than the Enfamil. The proteins in this formula are already broken down for you little one. Price, when I used it, the Good Start was like five dollars a can cheaper.

I always used Enfamil because that's what the Hospitals start your family off with. Some folks use Good Start or Similac if their baby suffers from indigestion - those seem to be easier on the stomach.

NOT EVERYONE CAN BREASTFEED!!! My daughter is tounge tied and could not physically breastfeed. The best formula depends on what you are looking for. Enfamil with Lipil has iron and is very good for babies but is difficult for newborns to digest. I use Enfamil Gentlease with Lipil. It has iron but the proteins are broken down partially to help ease digestion.

I use Enfamil with my daughter and we haven't had a single problem with it. Everyone in my family has used Enfamil and we all like it the best.

Enfamil with Lipil

I used Enfamil, without iron. The iron will likely cause constipation. And, I recommend buying the ready mixed instead of the powder form, unless you use bottled water without flouride to mix it with.
